Morning
Just wanted to get us started for the week. Didn't make bad choices yesterday. I know I didn't drink a lot of water, so that will be the focus of today. I did make a yummy trail mix over the weekend.

Hey all... weighed myself on a scale at J's dads home and got a bit too excited about what I knew had to be an off weight ...it had me as down 10 lbs. Not quite there yet but down 6 or so. Feeling good but I need to find me some fruit around here; it's weird not having it around.

Nice work Alexis!

I'm sure I'm up. I practically didn't journal at all last week, and I had too much junk food. DAMNIT why do I do that?

We didn't go to a party, so that isn't even a good reason for me!

I did have a lot to drink on Saturday night, so that didn't help! But I had so much fun I was dancing on a a fireplace, so it may have been worth it. There are even pictures (video!) on my cell phone! Eek!

UM.... I actually don't know how to get them off my phone!

hmm...official weigh in is tomorrow morning. I should be done .5 at least..more I hope. Pants are a little looser. I will report tomorrow.

So I joined ww 1 month ago and don't really like my team leader. only problem is her meeting is the only 1 that I can readily fit into my schedule.

Anywho, a friend of mine who's had good success w/ ww said that it's possible I'm drinking too much water (e.g., yesterday I had welll over 150 oz of water and that was a non running day). Could drinking too much water cause a weight gain?

It's just a habit really. I drink 2 32-0oz water bottles before I even leave for work (or at least by the time I get to work) each morning. 1 in the a.m. at work and 1 in the p.m. at work and then another one during dinner (prep, eat, cleanup, etc).

If you are constantly thirsty, you might get your glucose checked for diabetes... it's one of the symptoms.

Aside from that I would say that you will just pee it out, right? As long as you are eating and getting sodium, I think you are ok.

But I am definitely not a doc!!

Are there any other WW meetings in your area? I actually go to the next town over, due to the convenient time, and that I didn't want to go across the street where I'd be with a bunch of co-workers...

I'm down 2 this week. Not much else to report...

Good vibes to everyone post-superbowl and Mardi Gras! Hang in there!

I drink at least that much every day simply b/c I don't drink much else. I don't think it's a problem unless your sodium is off at the same time. Too much sodium and you could retain some of the water, too little sodium and you could experience hyponatremia.

congrats Biah!

i pretty much only drink water too... i just don't drink that much... i just don't drink a lot period. i have a couple of cups of coffee in the morning (to keep away headaches....) i think i get 2 Liters a day easy. i try to hit 3. I think I'll try to do that more this week. Sucks though with 3 minutes in between classes to pee and a boss who wants us all out in the halls.... I feel weird skipping hall duty half the time....
