Rats, Christie -- I just saw this. Sorry! My running got held up this afternoon, anyway -- didn't get out for my 5 miles until about 5pm... raincheck???

7mi last night at 10:20 pace. Felt easy. Skipped the gym today but pilates tonight. My legs hurt just thinking about L-berg's TM class. Good lord. Hope everyone is having a good week.

How'd it go? Was there puking? It sounded puke-worthy.

There was no puking. I took Tom's advice and didn't eat before.

It went something like this:

-5 minute warm up at easy pace.
-4 x 1 mile repeats @ 6:42 pace with 30 seconds easy jog in between
-5 minute cool down
-3 x 15 seconds & 5:46 pace with 45 seconds easy jog in between.

Done at 1% incline.

Running 2 miles after 50ish minutes of yoga was a lot harder than I expected. All that relaxation is hard to shake off. 3 more weeks of it, too, because I cannot get my ass up in the morning early enough to do my run then.

Ugh, LL. That sounds absolutely awful. I'm not sure I can even get my legs to move fast enough to run a 5:46 pace. When I do strides at the end of my runs they're usually at about 6:00 pace.

Sorry in advance for this - Captain Runderpants is Aaron Pendergraft:

http://www.runphotos.com/packages.cf...2-SD3_0230.JPG

OK so I WALKED for 2 miles on the treadmill and I did not like it one. bit. It seems sooooo slow, it just took forever to get to 2 miles. But I don't think my hip hurt. It's still hard to tell - the soreness in my thighs and glutes from the Butts n Guts workout is
masking any other pain I might be feeling elsewhere.

And I got in a 45 minutes upper body weight workout.

I feel strong.

Porter and I got out for 5.5 miles at 8:29 pace at lunch today. This include sniff and pee breaks. Porter stopped too.

My groin/psoas felt really good today. Very encouraging.
