Bob My 2 cents on the newborn thing...be prepared to feel kinda useless and frustrated the first few weeks. Your job is to make everything else easier for Maggie so she can take care of the kid (feeding especially) and recover. Help with as much as you can (diapers and all that) but really really there is only so much you can do unless you're lactating, so keep the house clean, get visitors out the door as quickly as possible, do the shopping etc. And don't push for much hanky-panky - you're about to cross a Sex Desert, my friend, so be prepared for a dry spell. On the plus side, running will be a good outlet - how do you think I got to be so fast?!

Maria I'm sorry, an 8K? What, are you doing 2 marathons in the month before Philly or something and you think you may be tired? You wussbag!

I have a feeling if I wore the caveman suit, it wouldn't elicit the same reaction from the crowds. I would look like Ringo Starr in that movie he did...scrawny, pigeon chested, not at all intimidating to the wild beasts of the caveman days. I wouldn't be able to pick up the club to knock a woman over the head and drag her off by the hair!
