Yeah, I know what you mean about being hungry all the time during marathon training. And yeah, that's why I'll wait for the BQ timeframe (if it ever comes). I think I'll be able to suffer thru a hungry phase for a few months while I go for that BQ, but I don't want to live the entire rest of my life that way...

late posting here again....DD just went to bed.
I can't read the past few days of posts. hope you're all running well, Biah's friend recovers and the MN folks stay warm.

I was able to put down a 6.3 mile fartlek yesterday and an 8M run today. Today was supposed to be recovery miles, but I had to step it up - my (free) daycare had to be somewhere so I picked up the pace a bit (8:20's). Tomorrow is my in-office day, but I'll still get out for 8M - I'll slow those down for some recovery. Looking forward to my day off on Thursday to rest my weary bones.

I'm starting to get some soreness...and not in the right places. I have the lack of Xtraining to blame...it's killing me. DW gets pizzed when I say I need to lift or go to the gym. I get the "you run all the time" line.
Yep, that's how I get injured.

Looking for my vitamin I.

Weakness - no doubt diet. Not that I eat huge portions, I just follow up my meal with junk food. Friggin' Ben & Jerry's. I also procrastinate way too much. I wait, stretch, wait and then sometimes I don't have time to do what I originally set out to do.
Strength - persistence I guess.
