Ok, inspired by Brandy's haircut post, I need some 30s advice. I'm going on Sat. for a haircut/color. I'm sort of looking for something new, but not too high maintenance. I had a friend (hairdresser) suggest going short with long sides and wedge cut in the back.... I don't think I'm up for that short. But I would be open to doing something besides the long layers. I'm pretty happy with the hair color (milk chocolate with caramel highlights as I call them). Beth, what about cutting some more long layers for volume and adding bangs? Longer bangs that you can sweep to the side and tuck behind your ears if you need/want to?

I am a fan of the bob haircut. It is easy to maintain, looks good on every face and can be adapted to other looks without a lot of fuss and muss. I currently have the Jenny McCarthy one. Longer in the front, shorter in the back.

More like the first pic. That second pic, while very pretty, is VERY heavy on bangs. Unless you have tons of hair, it might look strange. Since she is a hair model, she probably has very thick hair to be able to pull that off. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">
