Beth you'll look great no matter which way you go but im all for the Jessica Alba look ( # 1) Then I can say I have a friend who looks alot like Jessica Alba

Ok, I know what you're saying. I didn't really like the second one, but wasn't sure what you had in mind! Now, I don't think I can (mentally) go super short, but what length did you mean? I think a bob (no offense boB) would be crazy on me! I haven't had short hair (or bangs) since I was in like 4th grade, no lie.

Why yes it is, my friend. I've been on a HUGANTIC PF kick lately. iPod is loaded. Maybe that's what is getting me through my runs so nicely lately!!

I must confess - I can't make out the folks in your avatar...

Beth I am definately of the belief it is only hair, it will grow back/out before you know it! So for my last drastic move I just told my stylist and colorist (who happens to be a good friend of mine from way back...) to do what they wanted. I ended up with a slightly longer version of the Jenny McCarthy bob and love it! I haven't had short hair since I was in high school! That being said, I would go to your stylist with a few ideas, tell her about the Jessica Alba look, tell her your thoughts about short hair and let her point you in a good direction. I am sure she will have some great ideas for you! And don't be afraid of what you decide to do, you will look fabulous! Oh and post pics, ok?!

Wise ass

No a friend who is just as HAWT as Jessica Alba

And if your hairstylist isn't familiar with your running addiction, make sure you explain that too. I always tell any new hairstylist that I absolutely, positively have to be able to pull my hair off my face in a ponytail or with a baseball hat/visor/bandana. This is not optional, folks. With my lifestyle, this is a necessity. Right now I'm sporting the bandana with regularity b/c I have so many short layers around my face that I can't pull them back in a ponytail. IronHubby says I look like a gang member, but I think the bandana is cute!

Lori- you are right. It will grow back. Over the past few years I've gone through "oops, it'll grow back" cuts/color. I will definitely post pics!

ANd, she already knows THeia!

Colleen yeah and I think we got it cut around the same time, right?! But now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of you?! Have you ever posted one?!

I don't worry about my haircut in regards to my activities. That is why there are headbands, hats, visors, all of that! I can' timagine what kind of cut couldn't be tucked back into a hat! And heck Beth, like I said I have a million at home so if you need one, let me know

Broadcast message: Fort Hose that are interested, a 30s Race Photo thread has been started. Post your race photos in that thread so all can enjoy (like the recipes thread).

We now return to regular Thursday fun.

I haven't posted a picture with the new 'do and color. I don't take very good pictures, I always look like a doofus.

Hair up in a ponytail or hat when running? You mean the hair plastered to your face isn't a good look?

My hair won't actually plaster to my face, so I guess cutting it short is a go then. I want to go pretty short this summer.
