Yeah, I watched it. Meh. It was okay. This is the first bio I've seen of Pre, so I learned something. I guess that makes it somewhat worthwhile.<br><br><b>Prae</b> (not to be confused with Pre), I had a little spot of skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) a little over a year ago. They removed it, and now it's completely gone. No recurrances since. I think the important thing for you is to do what the doctor says, and keep going in for regular checkups from now on. That sort of thing is usually pretty easy to deal with, as long as you don't wait forever. At least that's from what I can tell...

Tonight I learned there is such a thing as water babies class at the Y.<br><br>
And, I learned that some women who have boys who are older than 6 don't read the sign that says their boys are supposed to change in the boys room. Sigh. Not my fault you have to walk through the showers from the pool in order to get into the locker room.<br><br>
I'm pretty sure some of those moms dislocated their arms their hands covered those eyes so fast.<br><br><b>Brandy</b> - we had some nasty thunder up here but the lake tends to suck up most of the energy for the tornadoes. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> Smart smart woman runnin' early. Okay, I have a question. And, it's a lovely basic question so feel free to answer as though I'm 5 because I don't understand this.<br><br>
At the Y all the TVs had the captioning on. How does this work? I just about fell off the TM at one point because of 2 typos that appeared and sort of disappeared and then reappeared. . .it got to the point of ridiculousness. Is there really someone typing as they listen? It isn't computerized?

<b>McT</b> - I think someone is typing and they aren't very proficient at it. I get all wonky-headed trying to read the captioning while running on a TM. However, some of those spelling mistakes are quite entertaining. Thanks Mr. Close Captioning Man!!!

Folks, let me tell you something, you should all be so lucky to get to meet <b>Solitude</b>. She is very nice, and it was fun to talk to her. I wish I had more time to spend talking to her, but the security lines were long so I only had about an hour.<br><br><b>mandaroo</b> I brought your present back. Evening folks. Just finally catching up. Busy day where I didn't have time to check in. Actually, the thread seemed to explode this afternoon. At 4:00 we were a manageable 5 pages (I was on page 4!) I got home and it was up to 9.<br><br>
No running. I got up in time and everything, but decided I didn't really need to run 6 days this week! I've already run Sun, Mon and Tues. and planning on Fri and Sat. for sure.<br><br>
There's so much to comment on. Sorry. Just can't retain that much at this point. I am glad to hear that <b>Shaggy</b> is ok, <b>EQ</b> is home safely (we really were worried!) and everyone else survived work and life today! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> I succombed to the call of the wheat and had 2 Purple Haze tonight. Not good for the waistline. I've been eating so badly this week! Cookies, beer, white bread.... tsk tsk. Not sure what it is. Just been craving it all! (no, it's definitely not <i>that!</i>)<br><br>
QOD- More of a night owl, but I also love running in the morning if I can just drag my ass out of bed. I've been in a job that requires me to get up around 6:15 every morning for 9 years. It's still no easier than it was 9 years ago.<br>
That said, I do like getting up reasonably early- 8 ish is about when I wake up naturally.<br><br>
Ok, gotta get to sleep so I can wake up tmrw for that run. My eyes are drooping already.<br><br>
