Howdy peeps!

I am sooo happy today is my last work day. Not only am I done with work, but our last rehearsal was last night. All the costume bits I brough home are laundered, and I only have to iron one pair of trousers and a dress; my assistant will iron everything else.

And I'm heading south to hang with some lovely wimmins this weekend!

((((((((((((((((((((((((((Miss Shaggy and Theia)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) plus lots of post surgery vibes for the pooch.

Frankie, good enough news...sorry you'll have to have surgery. Cutie patootie kids!

How come no one gave Solitude the two new questions? #s 49 and 50. And when does the initiation ritual start? Who's got the paddle?

I'm sure there is lots more I should comment on, but in my sleep deprived state, I can't remember a thing.

Gotta get to work on time. I have to slip out to get my hair repaired today, and I have to do it under the radar.

Be well!

Moe - I have a tender bum, go easy on me. What two questions are you talking about? I got a list of 48. I think I answered them all. I'll go back and check.

I will report back here later and maybe have some pictures to share of my meet up with EQ. Good night, I can barely see the screen I'm so tired. Who on earth wakes up normally at this time of day??

Have a wonderful day.

Morning...

90% chance of rain here today...WTF??? Means I have to take my "alternate" route into downtown this morning so I don't get flooded out on the road I usually take. Sometimes I hate living at sea level.

I guess I don't really have anything to contribute yet today...oh, Maria, thanks for the push-up clarification. Although I think I may wait to try those...I already look like a freak doing some of these things! ha!

I'm hungry...I think I'm gonna scramble some eggs for breakfast. I feel so indulgent! Usually it's cereal...

Gotta scoot. Later Taters!

Morning Gang.

Let's get straight to the fun stuff.

I placed all the numbers in a hat this morning. Reached in and pulled one out.

Hey folks. Today is also my Friday cause I am heading to the mountains to chill with some lovely wimmins! And I can't wait!!! Wahoo!!!

Managed a tough ride on the trainer yesterday, followed up with some weights and lots of leg work. My hammys are not happy with me today. Tonight is tri class. We will be in the pool for to hammer out some drills and then up to the spin room for some cadence work. Should be a good workout.

Sending lots of love to Shaggy and Theia today. I know Shaggy is in good hands so I think I am more worried about our lovely Theia, you know where to findme if you need me!!

Frankie sorry you will need surgery but you sort of knew that right? Any more word on your FIL?

So there was coverage from the IM Arizona on yesterday, watched it while I rode. On the bike portion, they mentioned how one of the pros looked like she was in trouble and they pointed out how distended her belly looked! Moments later she was throwing up. Then the female leader lost it with about 2 miles left on the run, same thing!!! Made me think of the conversation lately about tummy troubles.

QOD: Definately a morning person. I try to get into the lab by 7am which means I am up around 5:45. Even on the weekend I am up early, part habit, part 4 dogs that want out and food!!!!

Ok folks, won't be here tomorrow but want to wish everyone a happy weekend. To the racers, good luck! And to Solar I am sending you all the good vibes I have as you crush your first tri!!! I really wish I could be there with you but I will be in spirit!

Yeehaw! Congrats Moon! Larry, you already know you rock.

QOD: For the past couple months I've had my watch alarm set to go off about 6:50am, and although I didn't necessarily *need* to get up then, I left it to sort of train my body clock to wake up then. It's been pretty successful...I tend to wake up before it goes off on most days. I still set my alarm clock, because I'm type-A like that, but I don't usually NEED it.

With all that being said, I'm not particularly a morning person...but the older I get, the more I realize I can get done if I don't sleep till 11am or something crazy.

Gotta go get ready for work...there are like 50 accidents on the roads this morning...the commute to work ought to be interesting, to say the least. Ugh.

Later taters!

Ann

p.s. my spinach omlette was quite tasty.

Good morning, good morning ...

Congrats Moon, and more importantly, thanks Larry for the extremely kind offer!

Ann, do let us know how working with a trainer goes. I'm curious to know how it's helped you out a couple months down the line. There is a woman at my gym who works with a trainer and she looks incredible. I like to eavesdrop on her training to get some ideas. Oh, and you must go to Austin. It's a very cool place to be!

I painted the powder room a vibrant red yesterday, put on two thick coats of paint, and the paint ran down the walls. Now I have to start from scratch ... ugh!

rats -- forgot the QOD - work days, I'm up at 5:30 unless I'm trying to get a run in before work (which I only do when it's daybreak/light that early) -- if I run, I'm up before 5am.

Weekends, I'm usually out of bed no later than 7 (and that's only after I've woken up at 5, 5:30ish 'cause I'm used to it...)

DEFINITELY a morning person...

Congrats Moon! Very nice Larry!

Larry - they didn't get any closeups for the PDR pics for ya?

Frankie - nice picture of the kids last night.

Solar - nice picture of you last night!

Planned 0 last night. Probably take 1 or 2 more this week.

So I am at the car dealer last night. They have had my car (VW) for 6 of the last 10 days trying to fix a dumb problem. Yesterday, they call me, tell me it's fixed. Great! I drive all the way there, get in, and can't get the shifter out of park. Arrrggghhh!!! Back home again.

While I'm waiting at the counter I see a woman getting setup with her new car (it's a VW/Audi/Porsche dealer). She's probably late 50's, well dressed. Her new ride?

Turbo no less. List price 145K. Sweet ride!!! (Albeit at a price more than my first house!)

All I can say is that I hope when I'm a woman in my late 50s that I'm treating myself to the same car!

Wow, this morning has not been very good so far.

First when I woke up I didn't quite feel right. Made some coffee, did my business in the bathroom, drove off to the high school track to get 3.5 miles in. I get out there and my gut just isn't feeling right. On about the 5th lap or so, I begin noticing I can hear my intestinal area sloshing and gurgling. Oh boy. I'm feeling so off I decide to cut my run short at 2.5 miles and go back home.

On the way home, I'm holding off the urge to fart for fear of something worse. I'm kind of concentrating on that and going across a little creek bridge when I see a raccoon on the other side of the bridge, but it panics and starts going to my side. I try slowing down and almost begin to veer to the other side but my brain spots headlights coming towards me so I end up holding it straight.

Thump, front wheel. Thump, back wheel. Now I just feel sick in more ways than the discomfort down in my bowels.

Oy.

Morning all! Got caught up in a support issue @work so I missed my pre-yoga run. Will make up for that tonight w/recovery miles and strides. Yoga, however, was probably more of what I needed anyway. Soooooooo good.

Congrats on winning the prize Moonie! And big ups to LLcoolestrunnerbudeverBerg for such a generous gesture.

((((Shaggy & Theia))))

PHL Peeps - do not drive on 76 this morning if you can avoid it; either direction. Apparently every car out there needs to stop and check out the cop who pulled over a speeder.

Solitude - looking forward to seeing the pics from your meet-up with EQ

Racers this weekend - we've got Solar ready to jam out a TRI …who else?

QOD - Total night owl.

Morning, everyone

Should be on the bus to school now, but I'm not dressed yet, so that's not going to happen.

QOD--I'm a night person who's trying (with varying levels of success) to be a morning person.

In case he missed it yesterday:

Pacer: Pittsburgh Marathon -- May 2009

I hope everyone has good days, good vibes, good runs, good eats, good friends, and good luck!

Good morning, 30s. Just a quick stop by for me.

Congrats to Moon on the big win. Nice work, LLGenerousberg...

I'll be heading down to south Jersey today to see a vendor. If I have time, I might even pop over to Philly for a cheesesteak for lunch. I'll wave to all the Philly folks as I zip thru town...

My legs feel nice and sore today, but in a good way. Yesterday was a good, tough run for me: 6.6 miles at a 7:52 pace. I don't know if I've ever run that far that fast. Today is a well-deserved day off, I'd say...

Thanks again to everybody for checking up on Maggie. She's doing fine. Everything still looks normal, and normal is good...

Hey, since I haven't been around much, I may have missed this. But has there been any talk about the Eugene Marathon lately? Anybody still thinking about doing this one? Anybody sign up yet? Anyone make travel arrangements yet?

Well, that's it. I'll check in again this evening. Have a great day, all...
