Much better...Anthony did his magic and it's all better. He did ask me if I was drunk when I did it.

Thanks...we'll see what happens. I'm not holding my breath; too many disappointments on the job front for that.

meant to run at launch and instead ended up watchnig the Top Chef s how from last night with DW over lunch.

I know we have some fans here...Any of the final four except Hung can win and I will be happy.

and...I broke yet another thread.

oh for pity's sake I keep forgetting the QOD:

We get up anywhere between 5 and 7 depending on how many people DH needs to see and if I have class that morning or not. Since we carpool, we get up together.

As far as morning or night? I'm a middle of the day gal.

Last night, while setting the alarm I inadvertantly set the clock ahead an hour. So, this morning it went off an hour early, but if the only clock in your bedroom is wrong - how do you check it? Took us 15 minutes to realize it and 15 seconds to get back into bed.

QOD: I'm more of a morning person, I guess. I hate sleeping later than 8 or 9, because I like to get stuff done in the morning. It's also the only time the TV seems to be off in my house, if DH is around.

Truly random song stuck in my head today: Bie mir bist du shoen

Bie mir bist du schoen
Please let me explain
Bie mir bist du schoen
means that you're grand....

Maybe because I have one my Andrews Sisters' shoes today?

Korbi...from? hmmm, I don't know. WWII era Andrews Sisters...it was one of their most well known songs, but let me see what I can find:

Wikipedia entry....

Ok, as some of you may know I, from time to time, like to do experimental things with my running and report back the results to the board. Today was one of those days. The issue I was exploring was the following:

Is it wise to run the day after giving blood on legs that are still recovering from a race the prior weekend while suffing from lower GI distress on a day that the temperature is in the mid-80s?

The answer is an unequivocal no. You will like suffer though a run that will make you reconsider ever running again.

Thank you. I will now take questions.

Not quite caught up yet, but I gotta go....

Congrats Moon! Thanks again LL!

I think I picked "nar nar" up from Craney, Winter.

Flem, is Beckett talking about Papelbon in your sig quote? He hasn't been very good lately. Stupid...choking...no good...loser...Red Sox. Argh!!!

boB, yeah I went to Middlebury. Those Otter Creek folks taught me to appreciate beer. At least I learned something in those 4 years...

Marriage Contract: I wonder if you can file for arbitration after 4 years of service?

QOD I'm a night owl by nature, but running in the desert forces me to get up way too early, and I'm conked out by 11pm most night. I've gotten so old....

Got out for 10K east this morning.

ETA: Korbel, I don't mean to jinx you, but with your training and speediness lately, I'm betting you come in way under that time...

Hmmm. . .

At what point during your higher education did they leave out the section on critical thinking with respect to decision making?

And I believe you're both younger than me.

So what the heck was I doing up at 2 this morning???

Kris, Middlebury was my first choice on paper...and then we drove all the way up there and before I ever saw the campus I told my mother, no way. She told me, I drove up here, you have to see the damn school. Lovely place...just not for me.

Trev -- I think we all enjoy the learning process, but there really is no need to sacrifice yourself for the sake of our education. At least not to that level. Taking experimentation to a new level, my man. Hope you recover well...

The song's older (it's a Yiddish song, I assume from the Jewish Vaudeville era), but the Andrew Sisters recorded it in 1937... so technically pre-war, but it's associated with the WWII era.

(Obviously I have even less of a life than you.)
