And, just looking again. . .that's all three rivers! Of course it would be, but I didn't even think about it the first 10 times I considered the route.

West End -- Ohio
Birmingham -- Mon

Good Morning

congrats to Moon

Winter my 14 year old son did that once to me. When he got home I gave him the choice. He could continue to ignore his mother or be a decent human being and acknowledge his mother. The consequences if he chose to ignore? Me showing up at school in the biggest ratiest house dress I can find, old stinky slippers, hair in curlers, and no makeup. Of course it would be during lunch time or in the morning so I could attract the most attention. I would be yelling my son's name for added fun. Me in no makeup would have sealed the deal for me. But I had to add the rest just for effect.

QOD because of my work schedule I get up at 5 am. I would rather sleep until 7-8. I have gotten used to it, so I guess that would put me in the morning person category. I still am not pleasant very early.

LLWarbucks That's a good one. And you should see his Sienna! Woot!

Your moment of zen - my DS (13 mos) discovered this morning that he can breathe through his nose. All morning he has been scooting around with his nose scrunched up snorting. I guess once you start nose breathing, there it no going back!

Hmmm...this means my wife has 3 years left on her current contract.

Maybe it's time to start scouting for future stars. I mean right now she's in the prime of career but, realistically speaking, how long can I expect her to keep performing at that level?

College Football Programing Announcement From ESPN.com - On a weekend in which the good matchups are as rare as a Notre Dame first down, four SEC East teams go on the road Saturday to play four SEC West teams. No. 3 Florida plays at Ole Miss, No. 21 Kentucky goes to Arkansas (ESPN2, 6 p.m. ET), No. 22 Georgia plays at No. 16 Alabama (ESPN, 7:45 p.m. ET), and No. 12 South Carolina goes to No. 2 LSU.

We now return to our regularly scheduled Thursday hijinks...already in progress.

Me too. I wish my work schedule would allow me to run before work more often... By the way, Pacer, funny stuff about Moon.

I need a good 30-60 minutes after waking up to want to talk to anyone...

'Mornin' all!

No run last night. Marital BS, a sick DD, and work all conspired against me. CONSPIRED, I tell you!

Back to trial today. It's been nice to be out of court a bit the last 3 days. I could actually keep up.

Scratch - sorry to hear about your morning. I hate seeing the critters get hurt....

Congrats to Moon!!! and super-big pat on the back again to LL. That was a cool thing you did.

Forgot the QOD --

I love getting up early and tackling things for the day. However, when I have a lot of stuff that NEEDS to be done before court the next day, I have a SUPER tough time going to sleep until it's done.

Short answer -- I prefer being a morning person. Am often forced to be a night owl. Lately, it's been both. Up 'til 2:30 last night. Up at 6.

Did I mention that I am changing units in our office in November? I'll be moving into a supervising role (among other things), and out of trials. Hello sleep, weekends, and less stress! Can't. Wait.
I'd look pretty funny running down the street in a house dress, ratty slippers, curlers in my hair and with I assume lipstick smeared all over, all sweaty and red faced, going in for a smoochie.

Oh! I am so going to threaten him with that! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

LOVE IT!

good morning peeps

I got up at about 500 or so for 12 miles. It was beautiful out..just beautiful. Low 50s ~ wind was a little strong but still. Nice sunrise too! My pace sucked the first half and my forerunner was a beyotch to me as well. boo hiss!

QOD: I dunno - depends. If i get a run in, morning person.

I am hungry - so very hungry

Weird, I've tried posting three times and the site has logged me off...

to LLextremekindnessofyourheartberg for even making the offer in the first place. I think we were all dang lucky that you managed to make your way to this little cubby hole of ours in the internet.

I guess this means I won't be visiting those mapping sites as much in the future

Alrighty, I'll get my info to you LL - in the meantime, back to work; I'll check in with more detail later on today

Prae: I'd be into it but I don't think I'll be ready for a marathon in spring 2008. I'll be running my first HM on April 27th. Now, the 2009 marathon, most likely can meet up with you at that one.
