Hey Captain!

I noticed in today's daily thread that somebody posted a 1 hour w/o with weights and then claimed 5 bonus points. Where can I see how the bonus points are awarded? I did the same type of w/o but I'm not claiming bonus points. And if I am able to do so, where do I post these extra 5 pts in mootness?

Thanks,
Mike

Irunmike-I just checked the thread-I have no idea what that is about-maybe she forgot to claim something from last weekend? I'll have to email Billy to try and find out. The bonus points for this weekend are for swimming-so everyone who has access try and get a few laps! I unfortuantely will not be swimming with all the "Bunny" activities this weekend I'm trying to get a long run in tomorrow before all the craziness starts.

I checked the website and everyone is still doing well-despite all our illnesses and injuries. I hope everyone is feeling better and have a great weekend.

11 miles for me this morning, plus 1/4 mile wu and cd. My longest since my foot injury last August. Yay.

I swam 500 meters yesterday to get the swim bonus. Ahh, the smell of chlorine...

Good job Labduck!

22 mile bike race this am plus 6 miles riding to and from race site.

5 point race bonus

200 yards swim drills in backyard pool. Not sure how to get race bonus and swim bonus on the same day.

1 mile walk

half hour foam rolling stretching to keep the evil IT band away.

Note to self: doing a hilly bike race the day after an 18 mile long run does not lead to great race times.

I was going to try to get to the pool today to snag those bonus points... but life got in the way. No problem, I thought, I'll just go tomorrow. Nope, it's Easter and the pools are all closed! Too bad they have a bonus event that just about requires you to go to a facility... on a holiday weekend! Rats. Oh well... To make up for it, I'll probably take the dog for a walk to the end of the road and back... that's 2.5 miles or 10 points, more than I'd have gotten swimming a 100 yards and the bonus!

Cashmason-Unfortunately, one bonus per weekend To record your race bonus and your swimming bonus you should be able to put in I raced 2xs and it should calculate properly. LMK if it doesn't work.
Voodoo-Thanks for the update-Great news-hopefully you'll be back before you know it.
Labduck-Congrats on your comeback!
Evan-I felt the same way about swimming bonus being this weekend. The Y is closed for Easter and with all the celebrations/preparations there was no way to get there yesterday either. Oh well-life could be worse. Seeing my kids hunt for the eggs this morning was priceless. The Easter bunny brought them legos/games/webkinz in their baskets and then they emptied them out for the egg hunt. The first thing I ate today was a Reeses PB bunny-Definately not going to win "mommy of the year" this year! Happy Easter to all that celebrate!
Team I is still doing well. Everyone is pulling their weight even with the injuries/illnesses. It seems like most if not all of the members on this team have a great balance between their running life and their "real" life which is always great to see.

Kruss, I added points to yesterday's total because I went for a late night walk with the dog... I just added the 9 to the 67 already there and now it reads 76. Is that the way to add additional points? Can't identify it as a "second workout" or whatever.

Team I is in 3rd right now, but not far at all behind the leaders. Seems like a lot of "back and forth" between the top teams and we're in the running! That's so cool, great work everybody!

We are definately a quiet team-but still in the top 3-not far behind the other two

Evanflein-Reporting the points that way is perfect.

Ice Cream-I have had a stress test (saw your post in the PRT) in fact I have 1 every other year b/c of a heart defect. It's an easy test-just make sure to tell them you are a runner or the test will take A LOT longer! Your HR needs to get to a certain rate (regardless how long that takes) for me they just start jacking up the incline from the beginning so it wasn't too long. I've always rec'vd my results before I left the office which is nice. Godd luck-as medical tests go this one is pretty easy!

Off for a overnight trip with the kids to celebrate their spring break-so Go Team I!!!!!

You need to start PMing folks...

I'm a little behind what I thought I'd be due to work / life etc. Still making over the SBA minimum.

Funny - I had that test the other year at the request of DW. It took forever to get my HR up high enough (I was hanging onto the TM due to the incline) then they complained that it dropped too fast afterwards. Pretty cool to see the heart that way. Nothing wrong with me.

I said I would crank it up a bit if it was crunch time. It's now crunch time! So before my usual Thursday 5 mile run, I did a 6 mile biking warm-up for a quick 9 extra points.

Tomorrow is a normal rest day for me, but I'll do a little something to get a few more points.

The test revealed normal heart function and I can do whatever I want! I got back to running with a vengeance: 22.5 miles today; last long training run before Boston Marathon.

I have something called SVT (or is it VST?). They told me it was harmless and I looked it up online, too.

It made my day.

Ice Cream-Glad to hear the great news!

Ok team-we are still in this. We are doing well. 1st place may be a stretch for us-but not out of the question if we step it up. I did my 20 this morning and then walked for another 1. Tomorrow I will do a recovery run but also try and pick up some biking points if the weather is ok.

Remember to claim your 5 bonus points for running/walking this weekend. Go team Intimidation!!!!

I have an 8k race tomorrow but will likely tack on extra miles later in the day to make up for lack of points today.
