Everyone is checked in, accounted for and logging their points. Ice Cream-I hope you feel better and Happy Birthday!! I also did not make my LR today. I was hoping for 18 but bagged at 15.5. I'm blaming lack of sleep and sick kiddies-I hope that's all it is. I hate bad runs<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><br>
Anyhow-it looks like Team Intimidation is off to a great start<img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

I may have to bow out of this one. I've already checked with Billy for a replacement. That tweaked knee I mentioned in the first thread broke down today during a 16-mile treadmill run. I was forced inside due to the 15 inches of snow. I had to restart the treadmill after 13 miles and my knee was just gone. I tried limping to keep up but couldn't. I restarted the treadmill a couple more times hoping something would loosen up or whatever, but it was the same outcome. I'm not sure what's wrong, but it's not good.<br><br>
Anyway, the last thing I want to do is screw you guys. So even if I can't be replaced, I'll bust my ass to do whatever I can to make up points. I'm pissed because I'm injured, but I feel just as bad for letting you guys down. This was the worst-case scenario I feared the most.

Voodoojunkie, sorry to hear about the knee. I hope it heals up quickly.<br><br>
I forgot about the time change happening this week, and since I run in the early morning (almost exclusively) I hope I'm still able to get in my "scheduled" distances. I guess I'll have to go to bed early tonight to start getting readjusted.

Voodoo-I'm so sorry<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> Being injured sucks. Hopefully it's not too bad. I don't know your specific situation but if you can get to an ortho quickly, I would suggest it. It might not be as bad as you think but either way you'll know what going on.<br>
Thanks for trying to get a replacement-but don't worry about us. This is just a game. Take care of yourself

I think I did two good contributions in the past three days. Basically, I planned a long run for Friday ut had to cut it short due to nausea. I attempted again today and managed to get in the 20 miles I needed to do. Rest day tomorrow. Just some weights and a short walk.

Got my 16 in today, plus a mile of walking and I counted 30 minutes of alternative, but I'm sure it was more than that. Already entered it all on the Web site...<br><br>
Kruss... question: when entering on the Web site, I add my running and walking together because there's no separate category for walking. That ok?<br>
Also, on the alternate, there's no way to enter the bonus points, so I added them together (6 + 5 = 11 claimed). Is that the right way to do it? Or is the system automatically giving the bonuses? If so... I over stated points. thanks.

Walking/running can be added together. I'm not sure what you mean by "bonus" pts-for what? The bonus race pts are automatically calculated seperately when you put in that you raced (once or twice a day? per the website-who races 2xs a day?) Anyhow when you answer that question "yes"- the race pts are automatically calculated.

No, the bonus points for the featured activity... last weekend was "alternate workout" weekend. If you earn at least 1 point in that activity, you can claim the 5 bonus points. But it wasn't clear how you add them, so I just added them to my point total for Alternative. (Next weekend I believe it's biking--real or stationary)

And sorry again, guys and gals. I hate to quit. But I would really drag us down. I just came from the doc's and will see an orthopedist next week and probably have an MRI. There's probably no ligament damage but it could be the miniscus, which I think I feared more.<br><br>
While I'm bummed to have to bow out, I'm glad you guys got a more than able replacement. I'll be rootin' for you all!!

Sorry-Totally spaced on that one<img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> It does appear that you have to manually enter them. I just viewed your entries from the weekend and you did not double count the bonus points-so apparently they are not automatically calculated.<br>
Kitkat-Welcome to the team. I saw that Billy is letting you retro your points to Friday which is great. LMK if you need help with anything.<br>
Voodoo-You will be missed. I hope you have a speedy recovery and a good appt with the ortho. I've have miniscus (still haven't learned to spell that) surgery and while it isn't fun it is an injury that has 100% recovery-not something that will plague you for the rest of your life. Best of luck<br>
BTW-I checked the standings and we are off to an awesome start!!! Voodoo... bummer, we need that voodoo that you do... heal up and come back strong! Note that one of the guys in a local tri training group recently had his knee scoped due to a miniscus tear. He was out for 2 weeks and is in rehab twice a week but seems pretty confident about it all. I never noticed a limp/gimp so was surprised by the news.<br><br>
KitKat... welcome to the partee. Any points you post are worthy.

5 hours skiing for me today. What ever points that gets us plus half hour of stretching afterwards. I am on a hotel computer, so if the team leader would post my points I would apprecitate it. Thanks.<br><br>

I also got to add in our 100 bonus pts for our Team name today-Woo Hoo! The bonus pts are scored under my name in the skate catagory.

Good going guys. We're holding our own on in the standings. I won't come close to the mileage as some of you, but I hope to outdo the "expected" numbers for the average badass.<br><br>
