I'm running 4 tonight and will head out to swim soon, I think the rib will allow it now. Then I have *hopefully* tree guy and insurance guy coming out. If I miss them, I'll freak. And I need to somehow get on my roof to cover the hole with a tarp so that the rain doesn't do more damage. So how exactly does a 5 foot tall girl w/no ladder get to the 3rd floor roof?? Guess I'd better get my utility belt...

I was hoping that the tree guy would do it but he'll never need to be up that high since most of the tree is on the 2nd floor roof. I really am not sure I actually can get up there. Then how do I get a tarp to stay put?

if my dh did it Marianne, I would drop dead on the spot LOL. I think I would be completely supportive in the house and just get myself occassional treats elsewhere. At least that's what I like to think I would do.<br><br>
So the tree guy is gone and so are the 2 trees. I heart the tree guy and Jen for sending him my way. Also the contracotr guy came and is going to patch the rain hole so I don't need to get on the roof. Looks like we're gonna need a new roof and new front porch, awww damn shame <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> Considering it's a 20 yr old roof I guess we'll suffer through a new one <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"><br><br>

Also Abbie if you can get the fascia that runs from hip to knee broken up w/ART, Grastons, foam roller, etc then keep the IT well stretched, you may not have to worry about it again.<br><br>
An injury is an eye opener to learn from your mistakes. Listen to your body and respond when it is telling you something. If you do the same things as before, run in the same shoes, same banked roads, same speed, same mileage, etc things will most likely not change.

Marianne-I'm like you-all in or nothing. This is why South Beach worked for me when I couldn't eat anything fun but once it was time to allow a little more with moderation...KAPLEWY! Went to hell. I do now try to buy stuff that have a portion built in like an ice cream bar. Even I know eating 3 of them is piggish so I'll just have 1, each day for 6 days until they're gone and then I won't buy them again for a while.

So it's raining and now everyone involved with the roofing situation is aware of the hole and said not to worry, they'd handle it. Still a hole, still raining.

mmmm i just made the yummiest mandarin pasta salad. It's actually a pampered chef recipe and has pasta, chicken, spinach, peppers, onions, cucumber, mandarin oranges and a ginger/garlic dressing.

ummm this dude is real big...and omg the tree was so much bigger than I thought. When he cut it off the house and I was next to it, it was enormous, no way I could get my arms around it.<br><br>
