GM!

Happy birthday to Chosh's DD!!

I have to run 4-6 today on the DM (I didn't get up this AM since I kept being woken up by little boys).

Batmomm-I'm taking Jake to the dr's this AM for his flu test (and to decide if we have to pay $35 a person for tamiflu-LOL) and I'll ask her about your DS's symptoms. My DS can't really walk, move, talk, etc.- so if yours is okay at times I would think that he might have a very mild case or another virus. I'll let you know. I'm waiting for another person to drop seeing DS isn't the best about not spreading things (coughing in my face etc.).

Badass- nice to have you back . You were missed!

I'm back from the doctors and DS has the flu. So $175 later we all have Tamiflu. I debated on getting it for all of us, but little DS and I need it because we don't have normal immune systems, DH never got a flu shot and has a bunch of deadlines for work this week, so that left DS 7yrs. I couldn't give it to everyone but him...so now we own $175 worth of medicine (which may cause insomnia- better than the flu, but since I get it easily I'll make it be a side effect because I'm a mental case). Even with Tamiflu the doctor said DS 5yrs shouldn't leave the house for 5 days.

Batmomm- I'm going to cancel playgroup. I didn't get a chance to ask her about your DS- they were running really late and wanted us out of there ASAP. I'm sorry

DS is doing fine now- Tamiflu is amazing. Yesterday he couldn't even walk to the bathroom, now he's singing songs. I'll probably just get insomnia because I was told it's a side effect...

Lee- I've eaten tons and tons of things for you- cake, cream puffs, truffles-- you're more than covered. I can't stop...LOL! I'm never, ever this bad. How is your blister today?

Andi- I'm glad your foot is better.

Oh good- I turned it off- my EYES!!!

Hi Fer! How are you??

Kitty- we missed you! Sorry to hear about the computer stuff.

My mom called when I was going to run this afternoon, so I'll either go at 9:30 tonight or take a day and rework my schedule. Oh well. Mom's are worth it.

So today was wacky hat day at school- I discovered this fact after I drove DS to school and sick DS said, "hey, today is wacky hat day, look at all the cool hats"- bad, bad mommy. So I dropped of a random hat and a book at the office 20 min. later. Hopefully DS will be okay with 1. me forgetting (although he should have remembered too) and 2. with the hat I selected. This is after I forgot to go to parent night for soccer on Friday.

Ty- stay on them about it. Call again- it's Monday so they're extra busy and it might slip their minds. I'd call back in the next 15 min. If you bug them enough they'll get the info to you just to shut you up...then you can move on.

Sisu- that must have been terrible.

Here is something funny. When I was 9 months pregnant with DS 2 yrs the other two had the stomach bug and I had a UTI. My oldest was too sick for too long so the dr wanted to see him- but I had an ob/gyn appt (I had missed the one before). DH had to bring the puking kids to the dr's which was 20 mins. away. DS threw up in the car, then in the dr. office...then the other one pooped in his pants....DH had no idea what to do. I felt pretty bad for him. If I could have been a fly on the wall.

Yeah....the call I got on my cell phone was comical.

So my annoying neighbor just told me that her pediatrician will not prescribe tamiflu for kids because of the side effects. I can't find anything that's really bad...anyone know anything about this? After spending that much money it's really not what I wanted to hear.
