The easygo clan made it to South America.

http://rousseau.id-3.ca/?70E1E799-0F...F-66E5423B84BB

Best of luck to those running the Ile Bizzard tomorrow. Did anyone run the Hypothermic Half today? Can anyone explain why the Running Room race is staged on the same weekend as the Ile Bizzard race. From what I see from the calender on courir.org there are no other 1/2 marathons in February.

Ran on the dreadmill today for 1hr50 today. Legs were heavy from a heavy week of training. The heart rate for the final 4 km was higher than I wanted.

Have a good day everyone

Back to running after a 3 days rest. No pain at first but it came back in a milder form. I'm still trying to find out what it is exactly. I'm sure it's common: pain at the back of my heel when I push on my toes to make my running motion. I'll try to see a fizzio.

Resto VIP : I'm not supposed to be here that day, but I might be, all depends of Mrs Gag work. I'll know by monday.

Thanks Grommit and GOmez for showing me around some new trails up there on the mountain! That was a lot of fun! I am glad I got in some hills also, and with the powder they really pay off. Yeah, great run all around!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I will check back to see if we had any racers... I bet Mercury already paid, and was not going to let his cold stop him... remember it is supposed to be a fun run..

Crappy week of running fo me. Got in a max of about 12 miles. Wanted to get in a long run this week-end but almost past-out yesterday after 3 miles felt dizzy and weak. Tried again today but not much better. I'll rest tomorrow and try again next week.

Merc finished 2nd in his age group in the 10 k this morning. Congrats Ian.

I think I 've found the Holy grail.... lousy service[novice waiter, new restaurant.... so we'll forgive them]... but the Nosh was the best this side of Brick Lane....
Actually, it was a tough race from the perspective of footing. You can't go fast when there isn't any traction. That is why the times are disappointing, but who cares. I was hoping to "take it easy" and win my geezers category (50-59) but it seems, some young whipper-snapper jumped up from the 40-49 and beat me by 13 seconds. I didn't know him so I pretty-much coasted across the finish line, only to find out later! Grrrr! Next time, I'll show no mercy!

Aside from coughing and sneezing and breathing through a straw, all wnt well. Bring on the spring weather.......Holy smokes......it's snowing likw a son-of-a-gun outside again. Enough with the snow already!

I've decided that today, and not Feb 29, will be my last day of work at a job I hate. I've got more important fish to fry than to be treated lower than low ... Don't get me wrong, co-workers are great ... the boss ... she's another story ...

I'm packing up now and leaving as soon as possible ... then I'm gonna run this afternoon!
