KZ: When I review old training programs, interval training would vary in duration. We would 2 sets of 4 repeats and the duration would vary between 1:30-2min. The jog breaks between reps would consist of a 1-2 minute jog break depending on the duration of the interval. There would be a 5 minute jog break between sets<br><br>
Tempo workouts would consists of 2x13-20minute pieces with a 1 minute walk break in between.<br><br>
Before either workout out there would be a 15 warm up jog followed by series of technical drills.<br><br>

SS are you still planning to use your snowboard I've decided since I can no longer run I will live through Britney and start her training for the winter 2018 Olympics and 2020 summer Olympics.<br><br>
I may be selling my concept 2 rower anyone interested at $300 its a steal from the cost of over $1500 new.

Meanwhile... 55 days till provincials... I'm swimming 6 events, including the 200 fly and 400 IM on day 3 of the 3 day meet.... ughhh. <img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif">

Not me DR. I did a long run today....first run this week for 40 minutes(!) and my foot was on fire. Looks like this year will be a wash out!<img alt="uhoh2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/uhoh2.gif"><br><br>
Chops, the only singing I do is in the shower and even my dog runs & hides!<img alt="roll_eyes.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/roll_eyes.gif"><br><br>
Looking out my window, all I see is ice on the canal.....begone! They are out on the ice today snowboarding with parachutes! What do they call that? man are they ever moving! The wind is roaring down Lac St. Louis. Today's run was serious resistance training heading to Dorval and a real joy on the way back!<img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">

<span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';">jeez.... its cold here <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"> run for nearly 3 hours this morning on the <a href="http://connect.garmin.com/activity/25260674" target="_blank">Ventana Canyon trail</a>.... very very cool. Got to the top and the Cactuses[cacti] had snow on them ... yikes .... took a few photos with my phone but they really don't do this place's beauty justice.<br><img alt="" src="http://i47.tinypic.com/30lffwk.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>
The trail was 8/10 technical... and the run down was very impressive for the few hikers I passed who were on the way up...<br><img alt="" src="http://i48.tinypic.com/os9ydg.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"></span><br><br><span style="font-size:xx-small;">the experiment continues</span>
