Although I said "it" first, I had to call and ask the husband when I did, because I don't remember. He thinks early summer, and we started dating in late April. For the record, we started sleeping together in March, so we were a bit backwards.

OTOH, I will remember forever the first time he told me he loved me, it was 9/11/2002, and it was by far the best part of what was otherwise a completely sh*tty day.

I have no idea. I think he said it first though.

About 4 months into the relationship, my now DW wrote it in an Easter card. I remember opening the card and smiling. I responded back immediately. We dated for another 20 months before getting engaged which lasted for 30 months. We are coming up on 12 years of married bliss. A total of 16 1/2 years being exclusive with one person.

Best decision I have ever made.

Maybe she just has an aversion to love

i was 18 he was 19. i knew then that getting that wound up when you're that young was some silly shit. a year later when he asked me to marry him, my response was, "what're you high? do you know how old i am??"

Wow...

I honestly can't remember and now I feel a tad guilty that I don't. It must've been sometime in the Summer of 1979 when I was only 17.
