QOD- beets and Brussels sprouts. The thought of organ meats skeeve's me out, but I've never actually eaten any.

I love my cheese!

I am actually willing to give roasted Brussels sprouts one more chance if they are roasted. Someone I used to know would roast them with balsamic vinegar.

tomato juice or eggnog

it's hard to find a dessert I don't like. Cake is one of the lesser ones, though. I'd rather have pie or cheesecake or cookies or brownies or icecream than normal cake (but normal cake is still OK).

The training alone in an administrative position will open doors for me much better than delivering the mail would. Plus...I always wanted a job that I didn't need mitts for.

mmmm..... baklava, love it! I can only have 1 piece though. It really is too sticky sweet for more than that.

Winter!!!! Congratulations on getting the job

QOD #1 - When I saw the question, I was thinking stuff that many others like but I don't. For me, that would black licorice - ewww.

QOD #2 - Pretty much all vegetable juices...especially that V-8 stuff (yecch.) Dessert, I suppose the licorice could count here too. I also don't get the appeal of canteloupe or watermelon

I bet most of the brussel sprout haters haven't had them really fresh and prepared properly.

when I was working in Holland alot....I would get the best fresh veggies at the local market and they would have 3 different types of brussel sprouts........the little ones were soooooo friggin' good....steamed with a butter, salt and a bit of parmesan cheese.

le petit shou......the little cabbage

you are sooooo gonna love eating at the castle oache!!!

I have a vegetable roaster for the grill.......roasted asparagus with sea salt is unbelievable.

Brussel sprout haters:

1 bunch of fresh brussel sprouts - trim stems and peel off outer tough layers
boil approx 7 minutes and remove, rinse with cold water and cool, once cooled cut in half

4-6 pieces of good flavorful bacon (not the turkey stuff, real pig) chopped into small pieces

cook bacon in a large skillet, once crispy and they've given off enough fat put brussel sprouts in skillet to coat

serve.
