Morning gang!

Most of you saw the news last night, but just in case:

the offer on the house was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked the music conversation yesterday afternoon and in addition to Tuesday's Gone by Metallica (even though it was on the Garage, Inc album there were other musician that played on it) don't forget Metallica's version of Whiskey In The Jar which is a traditional Irish song that Thin Lizzy and a whole bunch of others have recorded.

RFTL - yeah, big day. Took care of the Grandma's registration just a minute ago. Yeah, registered for a marathon this morning, a marathon that is four weeks after Madison. I might just be crazy.

2 things from yesterday.
I love jimi way down in my soul.
No ONE should ever cover Smokey Robinson. You can talk to MY mama about that... Oh my goodness.
Nor should they cover John Lee Hooker.
It should be a law.

I think the Mama Said Knock you out album cover is bad- along with ****** Ford Sings the Blues- and Mean and Evil

Good morning. Congrats again to Tonya & KP!

I always liked Grand Funk's cover of "The Loco-Motion"...

Gonna meet up with some friends tonight in Hoboken. Plenty of beers a-flowing, I'm sure. And it'll probably make getting to work on Friday less than fun...

Have a great day, folks...

Must be a good feeling for you two, KP and Phdatc.

In news of smaller good feelings, I had toast and butter this morning for the first time again in a long while. The loaf of gluten free bread came out well. For dinner tonight, I'll have chicken with vegetables that's in the crockpot and be able to dip bread in the broth. All right.

Morning folks.

I missed a lot of stuff from yesterday afternoon on, but first of all, a huge WOOHOO goes out to Kevin and Tonya for the accepted bid on the new digs!. That's awesome, guys!

It actually snowed here in Georgia last night! Not snow, as in what you northern folks would consider 'worthy' frozen percipitation, but it was nice. I was at my massage therapist's place, waiting on my appointment, when the snow really started coming down... and it was just starting to stick.

Strangely enough.. one of my first thoughts? "Ohh man.. it would be so cool to run in this........."

Sadly, it wasn't meant to be this time around. We now have rain, and whatever fluffy snow was on the ground last night, has turn to applesauce-consistency mush. Bleh

I went to my tap class last night...and it ran long. 75 mins. I don't know how I'm going to get through our rehearsal sched! Oy.

Again, great news K and T!!!!! And congrats on registering for Grandma's K!

Ok, gotta run! Have a good one!

Awesome news on the house, guys! Very exciting!

Maureen I was thinking about you and the new job...how is it so far?

Why do they call it Grandma's, anyway? I've always wondered about that.

Mom took the bandages off Kissy's leg yesterday. She's got 12 stitches but they seem to be healing up ok. She's a bit intimidated about getting back into a vehicle. Poor doggy.

Way to go Kevin and Tonya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day. I was told late yesterday afternoon that I have to be the sub and go to a meeting this afternoon. That's ok as I have to travel an hour there and back for a short meeting that should eat up my work day after lunch so that I don't have to return to the office. The bad thing is I have to go to a meeting.

Man, I really need more coffee because I was wondering what you were registering your grandma for!!!

As I drove home in it yesterday, I thought the exact same thing!!! But it was cold. And possibly icy, so I decided against it!

Anywho, not much going on here. Class is coming in now, so I'll have to finish later....

Johnny Cash covering NIN's Hurt
John Coltrane's My Favorite Things
SRV's Voodoo Chile
Foo Fighter's Baker Street (already mentioned, but I like it)

Moe - are you gonna get a super hero cape for Penny?

I hope Hank finds the gluten free diet helpful.

I know I've been finding it very helpful to how happy my gut feels, but man, it's amazing how much stuff has wheat, barley or rye in it. This time of year has always been kind of a bread craving time of year for me. I had really been missing bread.
