Another quick post & run from here - I'll be soooo glad when this week's over.

Good news - toe is better. Bad news - we might have an addition to the 30s toe necklace soon (someone did start that going, right?)

Sports massage is painful...but sooo good. Figured out yesterday possibly why I veer off in one direction during my swims - the reach of my right arm upward was two inches less than my left arm. A few painful maneuvers which unstuck some muscles and stuff and it's been evened out - can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to get back for a swim.

And who needs coffee? I place my coffee down on my desk and notice a face of a young woman on the sleeve just above my thumb. I take a closer look - the sleeve is an advertisement for the Maidenform Smooth Bra

Clare - woohoo! Another one coming to Philly!
Hugs to you {{{{Theia}}}} (and the pics...nice!)
And Kris/Bard does rock - 'nuff said.

Great days to all! Later...

Drat...that's not one of the options. Looks like the only ones I can get go Moncton/Ottawa/Toronto/Philly or Moncton/Montreal/Toronto/Philly. They arrive in Philly at 1 pm as well, though. So we'll get in at the same time. Would have been neat to hook up in Ottawa, though!

Hey folks, no time to read the thread. Rough night and bad morning. My poor old doggie Princess is not doing well. I won't go into details cause just thinking about it makes me cry but she is at my BIL's vet hospital and I think it would take a miracle to say I will ever bring her home with any quality of life again. I am prepared to let her go for her own sake but FU@&!!!!! This is hard! She is my first pet. Ugh, enough already! I came into work to get some stuff done and wait for BIL to call me.

(((((Theia))))) even some extra today cause of all I am dealing with!!!

Oh and on a totally different note, I read in Health magazine last night that on Oct 30th there will be a documentary on PBS following a handful of athletes training for the Boston marathon. SUpposed to give insight into what the body deals with while training for a marathon, thought you all might be interested!

Ok, off to occupy my mind!

((((Beaker))))

Winter - I have your signature line copied down and taped to my wall at work, a wise woman wrote that to me earlier and it struck home. Just sos you know, and thank you.

Heather - Trevorish. . .nice.

{{{{{{{{{{Lori/Beaker}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

{{{{{{{{{{{Princess}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

McT: nice....

Morning all –

Ramsey – nice race. That’ll definitely get you primed for your upcoming marathon. Nice work.

Same to you Bob – look at it as demonstrating how far you’ve come rather than what you may have done a few weeks ago. Last year at New Haven I had to push pull and kick you to an 8:36 pace. Now, it’s a training run.

Ailarie – could be that your just re-stretching some of the tendons? (I forget which is which). I know that there is often residual pain when I come back from an ankle injury.

Noni – I think which ever race you run, you’ll have to take Philly easy. You could likely do both the Stockade-athon and the turkey trot as all-out efforts.

Prae – I’d bump up to a consistent 20 before tackling 25mpw.

Colleen – Good to see that you’re coming to Philly. What are you planning to run?

Theia – I was going to say something, but I keep losing my train of thought when I hit page 2 of the thread. Hope you’re feeling better.

Maria’s butt is crabby – that’s funny.

Heather just got put on another list….

Lori – that’s very, very hard to do regardless of whether it’s your first pet or not. Those were some of the worst days of my life. Good luck with your decision.

QOD?

Good runs to all.

Good Morning! It is a great day. It is beautiful outside and my legs feel like jello. I love that feeling. I went to spin last night and then I attempted to run this morning. Flat route, but I only did 5 miles. I don't think I could do anymore if I tried.

Clare Yeah! Baby sleeping is good. It sounds like it is going to be a party in Philly. I'm jealous you get to go.

Theia Woohoo! You are hot! Nice pictures. (((Theia))) For your sad anniversary.

Beaker Sorry that your dog isn't doing well. It is hard to lose pets. Thanks for the info about the story. That looks like something I would LOVE to watch.

Winter thanks for you help. You like??

Ok, must do work now. Gack, I don't feel like it today. Today feels like a relaxing at home, maybe watching a movie, drinking some Gatorade type of day.

*Sigh*

That's not a fair question right now. I'd say yes cause I'm swimming (drowning might be a better word) in websphere sh!t!

{{{{Beaker}}}}}} I'm so sorry you have to go through this sweetie!

I need two DVRs. There are too many shows on TV, not to mention too little time to watch them (DD is a nazi when it comes to who watches what shows in this house. Lets just say DH and I have seen way to much children's television lately.)
