Thanks <b>Baggs</b> never even dawned on me to start back a few layers of people to help the slow down process...major DUH moment for me.<br><br>
I will have my Garmin as well with it set to avergae pace so I know about where I am sitting and how much I am gaining (or fading) in each mile.<br><br>
an odd cocern I have is the guy who I will be runnign with has had a hell of a time with his early pace control in all three of his prior marathons. I have to be certain I do not get pulled along too fast by him!

Sweet and it is perfectly okay to push me. A friend of mine who did part of my last marathon with me was too polite and let me do a 15 min/mile and then another friend did push me a mile or so later and I was able to bring it back up to 12s (which wasn't great, but better than 15!).

<b>Nettie</b> - there's a good chance I'll be laying on the side of the road somewhere in Manyunk mumbling about the stupidity of attempting two marathons in two weeks. If that's the case scoop me up and I'll run the last 6.2 with you.<br><br>
Getting from the finish back out to Manyunk may be difficult by car since the drive will be closed on both sides. There's surely some way though.
