This was AWESOME!!!!! Man, I can't wait to be able to try another HM. This little 1/4 mile crap is just driving me nuts!

Nick booked ours via Priceline and bid $85/night. With taxes, we are staying Fri-Sat-Sun for $301.xx.

I just realized I don't need to do my 20 until next week! Yeah! This week, I'll just be trying for 12-14.

I was just checking out the Coyotes schedule for this year, none of the eastern conference teams Id like to see will be playing here. This sucks! But I sure can see alot of the same old western conference teams No Devils, Fyers or even beth's Thrashers will be visiting here. Heck I even looked at Anaheim and LA's schedules, nope nadda zip zilch. What a bunch of idiots.

end NHL rant/

move along, nothing to see here

Yeah, that is a good story. I love a good fly over to kick off a game or event or a race. My wife always gives me a hard time because, with a fly-over and a well sung national anthem, i'll get a little misty everytime.

Hey all,

Just back from the eye doctor. Everythihng is fine, I don't need glasses, yet, but she said your eyes are aging. They put that dialator suff in there, and now everything is blurry. Supposed to wear off after a bit.

Here's a pic of me and the kids at the soccer field this past Saturday.

If it is the DH she's trading in, he'd be like while every man alive would be like . KJ How YOU doin'?! By the way - don't fret about meeting new folks tonight...just keep your expectations realistic and don't expect them to be as cool as us.

Back in the heady days of Patrick Roy, eh?

That was until until his absolute shellacking at the hands of Stevie Yzerman and the Detroit Red Wings Even after he moved to Colorado the Wings had his number--and it made for some outstanding hockey. The Detroit/Colorado match-up was THE hockey event in the late '90s. I miss those days . . .

Baggs thanks for posting that man....

rain or no rain, hot or cold...bring on that bitch called the TC marathon

stop the presses-real running question here gang

for you marathoners, my goal pace is 9min/mile so comfortably under 4 hours to finish. How far off that 9 min pace should my first miles be 9:20? 9:30? and for how many miles, first 3? first 5?

maria, baggs, pacer, Tim, Voo what is/was your plan in those early miles. most pace charts I am looking at say 20-25 seconds off pace for the first 3-4 miles

I was just thinking that was what you might answer. It's not for the faint of heart.

Mucho thanks to your DH for his service.

Amen to that. The Western Conf finals were awesome!!! That game winner that Stevie shot from just inside the blue line (you know the one i'm talkin about) was a thing of beauty! Go Wings!
