Good luck Racers!!!!

Hoping the rain holds off for a good lunch run today. I've got to carve out some PT stretch time too.

I'm having a fat day today.

(technically it's a scheduled off day, but I usually still at least do a tape or something, and I've not done anything yet. So a fat day.)

Fat? Fat? You're joking right?

Shhhh!! Don't give all my secrets away, dude! Sheesh...

So, KrisE likes tough women? Maybe it's just because it's Fri, or maybe it's just my inner perv, but I'm reading between the lines there and that tells me he could be a submissive! Whatever floats your boat, bro!

5 miles early afternoon. Good weather, calm pace...hammy feels a little better but I may take tomorrow off completely just to be safe. WHich means I get to sleep in before catching my flight to Disney...sweet!

So - Celebrity Rehab...how effed up is Jeff Conway?! That dude is a trainwreck!

Heh, it is Friday, I suppose, but you're about 180* off on that one.

A good friend of mine is running in the 3:50 group...tell your slower pacer brethren to be nice

Good lick everyone this weekend. I'm heading to the gym for 6m - thunder & lightning here recently and the rain is picking up again. I'm not much for running in the gauntlet today.

Cheers

Hey everyone!

I got my long run in. It started pouring on the way back (4 miles from the car). Oh well. I felt like a tough woman.
I have my last soccer game until the summer tonight. My team is not pleased with me at all. Oh well, you can't please everyone.

Good luck this weekend to all the racers!!!

Absolutely! The more the merrier!

I'm sad I won't be at the Icicle. I just don't think I can pull off a decent 10miler (and there is a nice hill thrown in there) right now (thanks to that damn cold and 2 weeks off :huh. Plus, even on a good day I think I'm too slow for those people from what I have heard. I don't think coming in last would be good for my running mojo right now.

I will be attempting 10 tomorrow morning though. It's an out an back from my house to the high school but I'm starting at the high school because the back is mostly up hills so I figure I'll get it done first when I have the energy. I'm not quite sure why I am torturing myself. There are plenty of flatter places I can drive to but I figure the hills will be good for me, even if I end up having to walk a few.

I squeezed in 5.25 miles easy at lunch and made it back in time for my 1:00 conf call.

More kudos to Jen for putting up the monster mileage! Way to go!

My training plan this week if all efffed up! I didn't get my mid-week mid distance run in, so even though it's a recovery/drop back week, I'm going to be light on mileage. Me no like that.

I did just retire my shoes and did today's run in a brand new pair. I love new shoes. They feel soft and springy! Yippee.

Tonight is my track club's year end party. This is the one with the awards and the officer elections. I'm a 1st year member so I have know idea what to expect (never been to one before). Should be fun. My training group is meeting in the morning for a 17 miler. But, I think I'm going to race a 10 miler; then go to my DD's basketball game, then tack on 7 more later in the day.
