I mean, I'm glad YOU got YOUR Garmin so quickly! I always get my schtuff from Amazon much faster then they say it will take.<br><br>
went for a run on my lunchbreak today. a total of 4.6 miles. I was feeling pretty slow the first couple miles and started thinking about Saturday's 5K and how impossible it will be for me to attain my goal time for that race, but by mile 3 and then especially mile 4 I was picking up the pace nicely. I didn't wear a watch so have no idea on my pace, but it felt like about an 8-8.20 min/mile. So, I think my planned 2 mile warm-up prior to the race will be good. I hardly ever do much of a warm up run prior to racing, so it'll be interesting to see how this time compares, with a longer warm-up, to the last 5K I ran.<br><br>
I'm not as cranky today. I had about 3 cups of green tea this a.m. and am not even craving my usual afternoon sweet snacky thing. I'm thinking by Friday or Saturday I might even be downright pleasant to be around <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> .
