Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Sparty: Ride this streak, girl. You are doing GREAT! Very nice work.

Zoj/Tamster: I am not surprised by what Zoj's doctor said. I remember way back when I was having trouble with a pinched nerve, the one that ultimately knocked me out of triathlon, when I lost ITU Worlds, an IM and IM 70.3 Worlds, all in a single season. The doctor showed me my spine. It looked horrendous. He showed me what a perfect spine looked like. Then showed me what the average person my age looked like. I wasn't so bad. Just the daily impacts over such a long period of time wears on it. Probably the same with the labrum.

Me...

3 mile walk early this morning. Had a treat with Andyman walking with me. What an awesome dude. He was like, "Dude, I miss you; I'll come to your house and we'll walk." Such a good friend. Same guy who I've been running with for nearly 20 years. Same guy who paced me in my 100's.

Great day, friends!

Thor: Yes, Andy is a good man. Sale of the earth kind of guy.

Julius Caesar on TR this a.m. technical difficulties required me to bring in my tech expert, H, at 6:15 for some help. Got it done at new FTP but I think I need shorter intervals until I get my legs back under me at this new FTP. legs feel pretty rough right now and I have a 16 mile run in a.m. to do. Yikes! Was going to hit the pool today but meetings I think are going to prevent that unless there is a cancellation which is a possibility.

Thor- I've had several friends go walk with me at my pace. It was really uplifting and very touching.

Zoj/Thor- that's so disheartening and such a bummer about getting older. :(

As for me, my 1.75 mile run went as well as it could go. No pain in my ankle... just in my lungs and the rest of me. I saw a couple of teammates last night. Both of them were so nice and so supportive of me being out there. It was really great to hear someone else's perspective on my current path.

I have PT this afternoon and I was going to go OW swim with the team but after the unfortunate events of last night, I'm going to play that one by ear and maybe just spend the evening with DH.

Happy Hump Day everyone
