I'll be doing 9-11 tonight on the TM after I put my son to bed. I'm really happy to have the TM - it makes time management and doing Medium Long runs mid week much better. Yeah I'm a whimp, and count 9 as a ML run

I ran 9 yesterday (Pfitz called for , but I split it 6 and 3. I was supposed to do 8 with 4 at tempo (15k - 1/2 pace) instead I ran 6 with 4 at tempo (1 mile warm up and warm down) on each end. Then I ran 3 easy later that night.

I'm off to a good start this year 54 miles last week (53.9) and I should be close to 55 this week. So hopefully I'll wrap up January with over 200 miles

I have heart burn thinking about running after that combination.

I had a really good chili dog a few weeks ago, I think it will be my last. I walked the dog about 30 minutes after eating it, and I felt like fire was radiating out of my stomach. I remember that's the night I realized - I can't eat like I'm 19 anymore

I've always been an Asics guy at heart... Cumulus at first then the Landreth... then my store stopped carrying the Landreth, and they never had the Cumulus in my size, so I switched to Mizuno Wave Riders... the 8's then 9's... now I'm back to my old favorites the GEL Landreths. I get about 500-600 miles out of a pair of shoes. I have a small frame, and I'm a forefoot striker, don't know if that's why...

I keep 2 pairs of the same type of shoe in rotation.

Oh, and I have a pair of neon yellow Asics Magic Racer racing flats for 5k-15k. I think they have one more race in them, then I'll retire them, and get a new pair of flats.
