I feel like every bad habit I've every had is catching up with me. I've been feeling rough this week. Got out yesterday for a tough 5-miler. I just don't feel well at all. I wanna get 10 miles in today, but I feel bad. Don't know what the deal is. I've been sleeping relatively well. I was up late Sunday night but have been fine other than that. I just feel like teh carp.

QOD: Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4. I've got 415.4 miles on one pair, 366.5 and 220.4 on another. All three pair are still in my rotation, though I haven't worn the ones with 415.4 in a while. They're semi-retired. All there pairs have duct tape on the inside where my foot wore through.

Prae, I don't like running in the dark for fear of tripping or stepping on an uneven portion of the trail or sidewalk.

Well, I got out for 10 miles in 1:28:54 (8:54/mile). I actually didn't feel as horrible as I feared, though I'm not feeling that hot post-run. I just feel tired and achey. My legs feel shot. But I was surprised at how well the run went. I started getting tired at about mile 7.5. I just hope whatever funk I'm in goes away quickly. Could just be a sinus thing or something.

Heh! It seems like the last couple of years, I started wearing a hole on the inside of my shoe on the inside heel area. Usually, it's just my left shoe, but lately, I've been doing the same thing to my right shoe. If I leave it alone, the edges of the hole bunch up and rub a blister on the inside of my heel. So I put duct tape over the hole. I've actually rubbed through the duct tape as well on occassion. Once I wore a blister on my heel during a run so I stopped, took my shoe of, ripped off a piece of the duct tape from inside the shoe and put it directly over the blister. Then I put my shoe back on and finished my run.
