Happy Valentine's Day! <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
They have a tradition at my school that on Vday, the men of the school prepare us breakfast, complete with pancakes made to order! I'm eating mine with nuts (how's that <b>Linky</b>??) The women return the favor on St. Patrick's Day. Nice way to start out the morning...<br><br>
Other than that nothing too unusual going on. A friend wants me to come downtown and see his band play tonight- they go on at 10PM! I'm not sure I can go. Problem is, they don't have any more gigs lined up for the foreseeable future! What to do?? I'm already tired since the hockey game went into overtime last night and I was so wound up when I got home that I couldn't get to sleep till 12:30.<br><br><b>Litch-</b> will you be my valentine, too????? <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> That sounds like a great present!<br><br><b>Frankie</b>- Kris has some great advice for you there! Hehe...<br><br>
Ok, my students are taking a reading checkpoints test today and tomorrow in my class all day long, so I have no teaching to do. Yippee! Except, I hate getting behind in my lessons... Oh well, I'll catch up on grading and play here! <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>

Hey.....I got mrs oache a cool martini glass from Lolita hand painted glasses......It's not the gift, it's the look of surprise on her face when she opens the gift.<br><br>

Not an overwhelmingly fun day here. Maggiemoo still refuses to eat after her injury - even turning down (per the vet's suggestion) a dish of baked chicken-n-rice. If she's not eating by tomorrow morning, (which will 3.5 - 4.0 days of no food) I have to take her back in. I'm not sure if the pain meds aren't doing their thing, and she just doesn't care about food or what, but this is really concerning me <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> I'm sure when it's all said and done, she'll be fine and back to her antics, but the waiting game is quite stressful. Bleh.<br><br>
Though I did wake up to a nice surprise this morning. Apparently hubby (not for V-day, but just because the timing worked out that way) bought me a good contoured pillow from the Sleep Number store. I'd tried his when he was out of town, and liked it so much, I planned on checking the store out this weekend to get one of my own. He just beat me to the punch. Ironically, I was so tired last night, that with my normal "pile o crappy pillows' on top of the good one, I didn't even notice and get the benefit of the good pillow, as I mostly used the craptastic ones. Oops.

CARP. My V-day is off to a <i>wonderful</i> start. Rear ended a car on the way to work, no injuries and no visible damage to either car (tapped going like 3 mph). After I had given her my info and returned to my car, I was locked out. So I spent the next 10 min calling a coworker and she came by, ran me to my house to get my extra key (luckily I live only 4 miles away from the accident, 7 from work).

So we had all this rain yesterday and after work as I was walking out to my car I thought to myself..'man, what a shitty day it would have been to leave a window down'.<br><br>
Guess what I did?<br><br>
Yep, my backseat is drenched. And it wasn't opened just a crack....all the way down!!! No idea how it opened - the car has to be running for it to go down. F'ing Pizzed!!! I wet vac'd it last night and I' have to leave it out all day airing out in the sun. Hope the mold doesn't take over.<br><br>
