Morning all -<br><br>
I had a rough weekend running\fitness wise, so I was light on points. Gonna try and make up som this week.<br><br>
Strange stuff for me this AM. I was going to get up early yesterday for my LR, but ended up with work stuff from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM, so that got nixed. I got up early today to get it done.<br><br>
I was on the TM, cruising along just fine. I was planning on 10-12 miles. Just after 9 miles, my shoulder cramped up. I tried to stretch it out, but when I raised my arm, it was the most excruciating pain - I ended up hitting the emergency stop on the TM, and dropping to my hands and knees - actually hand and knees. I spent the next five minutes or so extremely nauseous. Never did throw up, but dear lord I wanted to.<br><br>
I felt fine for the whole run, up until that moment. My shoulder is still a little tight, but otherwise, I feel OK. Will make sure I hydrate and eat well today.

Put in 6 points for 30 mins core\stretch last night. 5.5 miles running, plus .25 cooldown this AM. Will try and get some stretching and core work tonight. Although I am hurting from my core stuff last night - tried some new things.
 
Shoulder still feels a little funky, but that is all. Ran a tempo run yesterday (much faster pace than the run I had on Tues where the weirdness occurred), and I have done pushups the last two nights, as well as side and front planks. The pushups and planks put pressure on the shoulder, and there has been no lack of strength. I have 13 on tap for tonight (although now the weather is looking iffy), so we will see how it feels after that.<br><br>
Just posted my points for yesterday - 5.5 running, .25 cooldaown, 30 minutes core\stretching - 29 total points.<br><br>
Three more days folks - keep it up!!!!
 
I feel exactly the same way - no matter what happens in the next 33 hours, I have thouroughly enjoyed being part of this team.<br><br>
Roads were a mess yesterday, so I had to bag my run. I had planned 13 on Friday, rest on Sat, 5.5 on Sunday. I got in 6 today (as opposed to the 5.5), and will hit the 13 tomorrow at 4 AM. May get in an hour of skating tomorrow for alt points.<br><br>
