Hey all!!!<br><br>
Back from my usual MIA on weekends. Spent Sat in a thunderdohme, however I did squeeze in a measly 3 m. Sunday was an ok day, did 6 m. on the perk trail and took my time with puppers for a LSD run. The weather was really nice & I would have liked to have more time to run, but had another Soccer game at 1pm.<br><br>
OK guys ...... We are down the home stretch. This is where the <b>"rubber</b> <b>meets the road".</b> We don't want to be sooo close and have it drop out of our hands at the end. We can do this!! No time for saying "should have or could have" after the event. Just think of the razzin we will get from team S if <span style="text-decoration:underline;">they</span> put their game on and we let them have it.<br><br><span style="font-size:x-large;"><span style="color:#800080;"><b><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><i>GO TEAM J!!!!!</i></span></b></span></span>

I have a 25 mile week of running planned. Also walking, stretching and snow shoveling to add on to that. This is the plan for the week and I intend to keep this plan. Keep up the good job everyone. It has been fun so far. Lets all have a great week.

I'm looking to get back to a 40 mile week as I come to the final weeks of my HM training plan.<br><br>
To quote Seinfeld: "2nd place... of all the people that lost, you were 1st". Being a 1st place loser is not the plan...

Kfuller you have motivated me to shoot for the goal of a 25 miler also. I will make sure to stretch to keep the legs loose and add extra points

I'm still in Texas - flying back tonight. Got a 2 mile walk in this morning. I posted my exercise for the weekend (and logged points on website).<br><br>
I'll be able to crank things up once I get home. I haven't been able to follow any of the goings on while I was gone... can't wait to catch up <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

hi guys... I am having some personal stuff going on this week. No bad surprises, just "tuff stuff" that I was kind of expecting. So, I may not be around as much, but will touch base as often as I can. I'm trying to work on my time management to not let my points slip.<br>
Let's get that extra gear going on this last stretch!

Got in 5.25 miles of running/walking, 5 minutes of stretching and 30 minutes of snow shoveling. I can tell all of you that I have shoveled enough snow for a while, but we have 3 more storms lined up for the week. Have a great evening and keep up the great running.

I've never had rhubarb cheesecake. Sounds awesome!<br><br>
This week, I try to follow in Lisa's footsteps. Time to raise the level of my game, too. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

Recipe for rhubarb cheesecake. I've never made it though--my MIL makes it and sent some home with us Saturday night. I'm afraid if I made it I would eat the entire thing.

Morning all -<br><br>
I had a rough weekend running\fitness wise, so I was light on points. Gonna try and make up som this week.<br><br>
Strange stuff for me this AM. I was going to get up early yesterday for my LR, but ended up with work stuff from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM, so that got nixed. I got up early today to get it done.<br><br>
I was on the TM, cruising along just fine. I was planning on 10-12 miles. Just after 9 miles, my shoulder cramped up. I tried to stretch it out, but when I raised my arm, it was the most excruciating pain - I ended up hitting the emergency stop on the TM, and dropping to my hands and knees - actually hand and knees. I spent the next five minutes or so extremely nauseous. Never did throw up, but dear lord I wanted to.<br><br>
I felt fine for the whole run, up until that moment. My shoulder is still a little tight, but otherwise, I feel OK. Will make sure I hydrate and eat well today.
