I working from 9 - 7 today and have to get on a plane at 7AM Tuesday and it's still really cold outside but... I brought my running clothes to work and will fit in 6.25 miles tonight.

Let's keep it up!

Wu- when do you sleep?? And thanks for the link to the vigrofit. Does it fold so it can fit into a small space (wall space)? If it does, I might be able to fit it into my bedroom.
With my new work schedule, getting to the gym is hard during the week.

Taking today off so I can go see a doctor at 11 a.m. I should be able to get a good workout (or two) in today plus yoga class tonight.

From Billy:There has been quite a bit of discussion this round on how to score skiing. I've given this some thought, talked it over with Roots and Hairy (who had the Commish job before me). The way I'd like to handle downhill skiing is as an alternative workout, 1 pt/5min, 12 pts max/day. I'm going to let XC skiing stay as General Cardio.

***so, downhill skiing does count for Alt workout

Strawberry How's that knee feelin'?

Tershall I didn't realize until I read your post that you and my friend Brian were running the same 5K in Dallas! Glad you had a good time at the race!

Ecodork sign up for the 5K!! You can do it!!

Alemma PR'd by six minutes!! Wow!! Congrats!!

Missy There is nothing else to do at three am and I wasn't hungry. Figured I'd take advantage of the time and I used it to justify eating a cupcake at 0500!

Doc 23 miles on a TM! You just amaze me!

Opie I've never been skiing but my brother tells me I'd love it. I hear it's quite the workout though!

I'm with Kim We're cruising on up... the other teams are not going to know what hit the when we're there sayin' get out of our way!!!

Sending good day vibes for biking this coming weekend Hally's way.

I got a little lost on the LSU campus yesterday so I added a few more miles than originally planned! I'll have to taper towards the end of the week though because I have a 10K on Sat. that I'd like to be well rested for.

Good workouts and runs to all this week, lets keep it up team, we're doing an excellent job!

Any answer from Billy about making Ecodork a mega? Not that there is much to be done about it now, but at least we managed to get Opie who is better then a Badass imho to cover our asses

I just checked my points and I am once again at the high end of Badassery and I felt like I was slacking, so I think with a little effort we can overcome!!

Eco, go for the 5K!

this was billy's reply at 926am:

"First and foremost, I'm sorry for the error. Maybe I can do something about it. I'll take a look when I get home this evening.

Thanks,
Billy"

again, theres no guarantee he'll be able to do anything about it. we should keep plugging away.

i just checked the standings right now and between 4th,5th, and 6th place (we're in 5th) is a separation of FIVE points. FIVE points people. i'm hitting the ground right now for some stretching/core and will try to add more despite it being a step back week.. every point counts, people!! go team J!!!!!!!

Well, I didn't get in a run or workout today. Worked eleven hours, got home, laundry, packing for my business trip. Flight on Tuesday morning at 7AM. But I should have time for a ten mile run tomorrow afternoon and an early morning four miler on Wednesday. I won't have a computer with me so I'll catch up on posting miles late Wednesday night. Figure me for 56 points the next two days.

Thanks for the motivation today. I really wanted to just stay home and be comfortable and lazy, but you all motivated me to get out to the gym for a swim.

Just wanted to let you know that the encouragement helps.

just input my points...32 points and my quads are killing me!! That yoga instructor kicks some serious butt! I also did 30 minutes abs before going to the gym but since the yoga class was an hour, I just got 12 points for the alt. workout.
Wu- good luck and safe travel!
Tershall- that is what this team is about-supporting each other and encouraging each to get that workout in when we really just want to be a couch potato.

Mornin' Heather!

Safe travels Doc

Great workout Kim I guess I need to go take a yoga class. The dvd I tired... I was not impressed! I'm sick like that, I like the idea of something that will make me say that killed my quads!

Tershall that's what a team is all about! Awesome that you were motivated to get out and swim!

Everyone is putting up some great numbers and getting in some great workouts! We're in 5th... moving right on up... I'm telling ya, check out my sig!!

About to finish up this shift at work and head home for some sleep... I'll workout and post later. At least three miles pace today per schedule.

45 min on the elliptical and 30 min weights last night 21 pts for me

It was 74 degrees this morning with 72% humidity. It was snowing here less than 2 weeks ago. People keep telling me that in Texas if you don't like the weather just wait 10 minutes. I think it's true. I'm glad I got my run in this morning because it's pouring now.

Good Morning all!

Got in 5.5 miles this morning, knee is much better (thanks for asking Tiff!)
Glad to see us moving up.. I'm making a promise to you guys that I will do some Pilates tonight instead of getting lazy by the time I get home... it's exciting to see us so close to the others!

Have a great day everyone and safe (long) workouts! (and safe travel too Doc Wu!)

The newbie is here to say hello! Billy just placed me on this team, and I'm excited to contribute!!! I'm currently training for the Tacoma City Marathon on May 10 and am hitting about 40-50 miles per week. Hopefully we can show these other teams how it's supposed to be done!!!

Brian

brian, WELCOME!!!!! we're super excited to have you.

more later. having a busy day.

i feel bad for the other teams. they have NO idea what is about to hit them
