Hey Doctor Wu - I agree we need to stop the approaching killer Bs. I will be @ 45 miles less this week than last, but I will try to add a little more cross training. If we each tried to add 2 extra points a day - it would go a long way.<br><br>
Here I skipped my PM run last night in Favor of Dairy Queen - I will make it up to the team tonight.
 
I'm good for another 500 points or so. Slow but steady.
 
I was a winner in the very first VRAA...Liam was our captain and I remember running 20 miles the last day to seal the victory.<br><br>

How we doing? Anyone got any runs planned today? I'm thinking 5.5 then a workout this evening.
 
I've already done one run this morning. I'd usually being doing a weight w/o at noon but I'm on course all week so that's out. Plus I'm dealing with an issue for the project I'm currently on so no time after the course is done for the day. I'm still thinking of a few miles this evening. We're well ahead right now but no slacking or we'll start losing that buffer.
 
Well team, I've come down with the flu and haven't felt good enough to run. It hit me all at once on Monday morning. The 24.5 mile long run I did on Sunday may have brought down my immune system (who knows?). Anyway, Monday was a planned off day, so officially I missed three days, Tuesday through today. To make things worse, when I go back to work tomorrow it will be a 12 hour shift followed by an 11 hour shift Saturday. I want to be fully recovered for Boston on the 16th, so I'm not planning to rush back into running, maybe a short run Saturday night and an easy mid distance run Sunday.
 
Take care of that cold, wu. We're fine right now.<br><br>
I got 6ish in today and I'm in transit again for the rest of today so that will be it. Tomorrow I'm back in the great white north and it's a holiday so I'll get a few miles in.
 
I now figured out why we are slipping - Our Stallion - Grizzly has been sidelined. I would rather have him healed than have his miles. This means we need a few extra points from each of us the next 3 days.<br><br>
Since I am the residence Clydesdale - Like any good draft horse - Feed me well and I can plod along for a couple of extra miles.<br><br>

so I'm finishing (I pray) a nasty chest cold, and have no more lungs to cough up. but with Grizz and Dr. Wu on the sidelines over the last few days, I decided to CTFU today and get a good run in. I had to walk a little bit of it when I couldn't breathe, but I did it. we can't leave it all on Flounder's shoulders!<br><br>
tomorrow I may run twice. Feel better Grizz and Dr. Wu!
