Good Saturday morning, everyone

Woke up to a nice 46F degrees, a nice change from the 60F mornings lately. Went for a relatively speedy 4.4 mile run in 46:35.

Now I get to set up for a small cross-stitch only yard sale--hope somebody shows up!

good morning

heading out for 3-4 in a bit.

outlaw - nice going early this morning. what's a cross-stitch only yard sale?

richard - enjoy the walk and reading alllllllllllllllllllll the posts!

see ya later.

enjoy the walk richard. nice early run wandering. enjoy the run dan. I'm gonna give the knee a shot in a few minutes I think. I keep planning my next weeks mileage and than realize I have to actually run first. Don't wanna push anything today, so i'd love to get a half hour in, but i suppose I'll take a mile of no pain. we shall see...

Morning all;

Well, I nailed my tempo run last night but didn't have time to post. 7 miles with 5 @ 6:39mpm. The first couple of miles were tougher than I'd like but things smoothed out. I had to get the swamp fan blowing on me since the old folks walking on the treadmills @0.5 mph like it nice and warm....

Not exactly sure on the plan today. Seems like a nice today so probably 4-5 easy miles on the bike trail.

Hey Flounder - quit slacking, OK!

Hope everyone has a great run, rest or race!

Well I suppose I should get back to work.

good runs all. enjoy the garage dave ha. take care there richard. Well 21 minutes and that was it. 10 mins felt good hip wise, knee a dull pain. started feelin hip at 15, thought it was gonna give way like it had been. made it home at 19 and decided to go to the end of the street and back. finished in 21, feeling some strain, but better than my 10 min disaster two days ago. think i could have gone 30, but would have been in rough shape. tomorrow is the real test to see if running is a set back or not. if i can run tomorrow i can keep babysteps

Hi everyone! I'm about to hit the road with a friend for some running store shopping, so sorry for a quickie right now.

I met two buddies for 10 miles this morning. I think I was a little dehyrated and fatigued so wasn't totally thrilled with my one friend who likes to push the pace. On a day when I'm feeling more energetic, it would have been fine, though. We had fun out there and it was a nice 50 degree morning, but WINDY. We pushed into it for quite a bit. Good prep. for windy Shamrock Half Marathon!

Good runs and days to all! I'll make sure to check in later on.

HAHA SGH the way you worded that 2nd sentence just made me lol. If it's from you I don't min.

Oh ya, the other day chances you asked which person I was in my avatar...I'm the ridiculously good-looking one. Oh okay still can't tell? I'm the one in yellow. That was from after state last May with my buddy from Germany in the back and my brother next to me.

Fly-by post here... 12m in 1:47. Bit disappointed with this run. But, I did get it done.

Headed up to Cleveland for hubby's family Christmas. Do not adjust your calandar. Yes, this is the middle of January.

Still sick, lost sooo many days of training I haven't been able to breathe or really move much for a week. I was feeling better yesterday so I did some walking, and this morning ran 3.6. At some point I need to get one long run in before the 16 mile race in 2 weeks.

Sorry gang, frustrated. I felt like a smoker again today when I was running...my lungs just hurt...I hope everyone else is being healthy though!

All we were selling was cross-stitch related items. Only had two buyers, but at least we broke even on the cost of the garage sale license (a city requirement) and the minimal advertising. Now my wife gets to try to sell things on ebay.

10.5 this am at an 8:30 mpm pace. Probably a little faster than I should have run today. Did get over 40 miles for the week and had two good alt. cardio workouts this week too (XC Skiing and Concept2 rower). I'm happy with that.

Great job on the runs and walks everybody!

Flo, had you been planning on running the Derry 16 miler? You're not going to do it if you're feeling this poorly, are you?

I hit the Y this morning, happy and credit card in hand. Bought another 12 visits and marched up to the babysitting room with the youngest in tow. Today didn't go as swimmingly as yesterday because there was a cacophony of criers which freaked out Sarah a bit, but I got 30 minutes on the elliptical and 3 miles on the treadmill at a 9:26 pace.

Good runs, all.

Edited to add I just saw that you are still planning on running Derry. I hope you feel better very soon!
