If there are more than 20 people, I am willing to step up and do some co-ordinating for a third team.

I am gathering some local folks (ok, Hashers) as well. I will wait to see what Notey posts later.

I can front the registration money for a team....if I can get 12-13 people to sign up, we'll have a team.

We're Hashing on Saturday, so I'll know more then. At the moment I have 3 folks from B-Lo who are very interested.

Yes.

If it's better for you to fly into Manchester then do it. If not, fly into Boston. We'll get you there either way. I was just saying it would be easier for us (me) to pick you up in Boston, but I'm sure someone else can get you in Manchester. Have I cornfused you sufficiently yet? If not, I'm sure I will soon.

Thanks oache...I think the race is $960 if I register sooner than later and it goes up about $100 after a certain date. I remember collecting $96 per person for the race.

Don't forget to factor in my salary.

If I volunteer as a masseur and sex slave to some of the wimmins can I lower my cost?

I'm in Boston if people need rides at some point, or a place to stay for a night at either end.

P.s. I'll be driving down in my van. Its a seven seater and i'm not afraid to use it.

We usually rent 15 seaters. I think a 7 seater would be way too cozy. But thanks for the offer.

I'll get the list up soon. I haven't much time for myself lately. A four hour ride home from work tonight didn't help.

Was checking the prices of flights today, looks like if I wind up doing this, Ill be flying into Boston. Its about 75-80 bucks cheaper for me to fly to B-town than Manchesta

Only 9 months - OMG - I better get training

Gang, I am so jealous this will not work for me. anyone around here in late august when i ran the Ragnar Relay and read my race report aboutm y experience will know how freakin awesome an experience I had.

I see some van talk...DO NOT underestimate the value of a 15 passenger van versus a mini-van or any kind of other transportation- like a suburban. My group in Ragnar had the 15 pass van and the other 6 had a suburban...they were immensely jealous of us.

the van is worth every penny.

have I mentioned, I am so so jealous of you guys..

Ok guys, I went through and rewrote the list based on when people expressed their interest to me. I realized I told a couple of people they were in before I should have. Most likely you will still be in because there are a lot of possibles who haven't committed, which I have denoted in the list below and other people may have to drop out along the way as well. And if everyone on the list wants in, we've almost got enough for another team.

Here's the list:
2 Krismas (CH)
3 American Idiot (CH)
4 JillieD (sukey)
This is still a possibility for me. But, right now (as in today, or this weekend) is not the time to have this discussion with DW. I just got two marathons and two other races and two new pairs of shoes added to the calendar and checkbook respectively. Plus, I have two ski trips out west on the horizon. So, the atmosphere for adding another trip for a weekend of just me away from the family having fun is not too good.

If all the spots fill before I can commit, then that's OK. I'll take a rain check. Also, I may need to use my fall race for another BQ attempt marathon if things go wrong in April at Athens.
