I'll already here/there! Planning to get into the park early on Saturday morning and secure a choice viewing spot either just south of the reservoir or just north of it, on the interior of West & East drives to maximize my viewing pleasure of them hottie men racers!

Did a little logistics check over the weekend on my runs in the park - think being north of the reservoir will give us better vantages from both sides of the course. Only prob with this is that we'll have to really high tail it back and forth. It's not far but those guys will be flying and we'll be really close to the northern end of loop they're running.
Thoughts?

I'm going to bring along some of those simple, fold-up nylon chairs that fit in a pouch and we can set up camp somewhere with a good view and also easy access to a path across the park. That way, those that wanna hustle across can and those that want to stay at camp, can. Good? Good!

Stay above 14th St. and you'll be fine. A giant grid. Streets go East-West and Avenues go North-South. As you move West, the Avenues grow higher in number & similarly as you move North, the Streets grow higher in number.

Anywhere along Central Park South (a.k.a. 59th Street) is a great spot to view peeps right before they finish. The actual finish line is back inside the park but it's wayyyyy crowded in there and a bit limited in where you can set up shop. CPS however is several long blocks of space to catch your favorite runners whooping up that last mile.

So glad to hear you're coming up as well Lora!!!

Is that a wallet in your pocket or were you just happy to see the finish line?

My marathoning outfit will likely be black shorts, black visor, green sleeveless shirt (same style as this but kelly green)
