<p>I've checked with the developers regarding deletion of private messages. The system will automatically empty the 'deleted' emails every 30 days. They are working on changing it to allow deletions right away. It is on the near term horizon.</p>

<p>So, I've finally got around to reading a review, to vote for the best of the 3 for that nice little contest, and I'm wondering about the "Was this review helpful?" question at the bottom of the review.  Why is the only option "Yes" as an answer?  What if it wasn't helpful?  What if I want to select "No" as an answer?  There's not a "No" button to select.  This reminds me of phone surveys where the questions are phrased to get the response the surveyor wishes to hear.</p>

<p>I don't suppose it's a site issue so much as a wonder on my part.  Without the "No" you can't see that, for example, 17 out of 20 people found this review helpful, vs. 2 out of 20 if that is how a review is perceived.  Sometimes it's nice to sort reviews in order of helpfulness before you spend time reading them, and I'm just guessing that sorting in that way might be an option with this forum software.  I haven't investigated whether it is or not.</p>

<p>I'm sorry that you're having trouble with the smiley box.  Could you do me a quick favor and clear your browser cache and see if that resolves the issue?  We recently made some changes, and it's possible that there is some stale data left in your browser.  <a href="http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html" target="_blank">This page</a> has quick how-to regarding clearing cache.</p>

<p>When I click on a thread topic it loads the new page but puts me at the bottom of the page.  I then have to scroll all the way back to the top of the page to read posts in their proper order.  If the thread is multiple pages, the "Next" link loads the next page, but also puts me at the bottom of the page.</p>
