Morning, all--

Went out for 2.5 in the rain this morning; first day back after a week on the bench. I felt fantastic for the first .25 mile and then the whole run went to sh!t: stomach pains, came to a dead stop due to shooting pains at my excision site, backache, heel rubbing against my shoe. I am proud of myself for being out there, though. I take a walk around the block to loosen up before running and I was considering bagging the run b/c it's raining when I saw a guy running toward me, and I felt like being a runner today, so I sucked it up and got out there. I would definitely like to run better on Thursday before flying out to my job interview, but I'm glad I ran this morning.

QOD--My first inclination is to say that I want to be a contestant on either Survivor or Amazing Race. I already have my lies ready for Survivor, and I'd love a free trip abound the world. If I come up with anything more insightful, I'll repost later.

NQOD (Nutrition QOD): For the morning runners out there (and anyone else who wants to weigh in). . .Do you eat before running in the morning? If so, what? If not, how long before your morning run is your last meal/snack of the evening? I'm wondering if my stomach pains are weak abs or hunger pangs due to the fact that I fast about 10 hours from last meal to morning run. Thanks!

Good days, everyone.
