Aren't you glad there are so mnay stupid people in your area?! Otherwise he would have been snatched up before you got to him! Can he have peanut butter? I also mix up a little combo of that and yogurt, either kong freeze it or just use little plastic cups and freeze away!!

(((Hank)))) - hope the vet visit goes well!!! I love the yogurt idea in the Kong. Odin gets banana and treats w/ a bit of water and then we freeze is - use peanut butter to block the hole in the top.

Not much happening here. DH is off as all the schools are closed due to icy conditions. However, here in the city the weather is pretty much fine.

I'm going to post this in the run thread too, but I had some thankful thoughts last night that I wrote about in the PRT - Prae inspired thoughts.

http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/sho...502#post565502

If you've got some time.

Thank you.

I'm not sure I have any goals for the month of February.
I do have my 10k, which is a running goal as far as the distance.
My other goal is to go out on a date with DH, which is set for the 9th. (Now that he's changed jobs and is home more. It's been way to long!)
Try to find my engagement ring ... it's been 3 wks MIA.

I guess I do have a couple goals.

Hey all:

LHTim: You unfortunately hit the nail on the head yesterday soon DS hit the deck I got nailed despite my incessant hand-washing. Fortunately DW was emerging from her coma just in time for me to go into one. Yick! That was horrendous!

So another day off here, just mopping up, cleaning toys, doing laundry, laundry, laundry. But everyone is feeling better, even if not 100% yet!

Larry: Yes, there is something ironic about Sienna to the rescue!

Dan: Awesome picture. Keep them coming.

Ok 30s wimmins I was thinking of you on the drive home from lunch (yes I think about you all the time but this is specifically for you)

I was listening to ESPN radio and the male host was going ballistic. I missed some of what he was talking about but his basic subject was a poll that was released this week:

64% of American women surveyed would rather date Eli Manning over Tom Brady

Now he is going nuts. He can't understand that at all. Why not Brady???!!! This dude lost it. So he calls in a lady who works "off air" with the ESPN radio team and asks her for some sort of help on this poll. What in the world are women thinking? He asked "isn't Brady more popular, richer, better looking, etc.?".

She was put on the spot, on air, before the entire world but did a good job. She said

"I can't speak for all women but 2 reasons come to mind:

1st- Eli Manning is less likely to dump you. Tom Brady has 50,000 women lined up to take your place if you displease him. Whereas you wouldn't feel as much pressure dating Eli

2nd- Women are more likely to think they are more attractive than Eli Manning. Most women probably would not think they were as good looking as Tom Brady so they wouldn't want to date someone who was more attractive than themselves"

Point #2 led the male host off into another tangent and he had fun with that one asking every male co-worker if they were better looking than their girlfriends or wives. Only one said he was better looking than his woman. LOL

There you have it. I have attempted to include our 30 wimmins in a discussion about football and dating....... I did my best

Ladies discuss heh

QOD I got nuthin

I wouldlike to try (stress try) to get back on track this month, nutrition needs to improve, regular exercise, and pay down some bills, if you ask me the question next month, I will probably say the same thing! ha

The haircut is tomorrow afternoon. Don't worry, I will definitely be posting pics tomorrow!

Becca- vibes for your FIL.

QOD:

remain consistent with running and prepare well for the ING GA HM and Madison.

also clean up the office of old mail/shredding stuff

pay off the last $100 of a loan (woohoo!) and my very last credit card! ($70!)

get back to weight training at least 2x/wk. I miss it!

Stay consistent with healthy eating. I need to lose a few pound!

Oh, and get a fabulous haircut!

See, to me dating Eli would be like dating a little brother. Now Tom Brady is a handsome man, I am not going to dispute that. I wouldn't be worried about him dumping me for a super model because he wouldn't be around long enough to have that chance. If I were single of course....

Brandy nice avatar.

Hello,

Long time without dropping in to say hi, so "Hi"

Thing have been busy at work and I am down to 72 days before my first IM attempt. I found out on Wed nite that I had more running miles in Jan than most of my tri club. Shocked the heck outta me. I did bread 140 for the month, so I am well on my way to getting my average over 40 per week.

QOD: Goals for FEB.

- Run my first 2 mile race. Note that I will not race it as DS#2 has started running and will be running it, so I will run with him at his pace. (he just did W2D2 last night and I'm soooo proud!)

- Get to the pool more often. I need to get 3x per week in to be at my best for April.

- Get close to 140 for Feb running.

- Get a 100+ bike ride in.

- Either refi the house or get a HELOC to pay off some cc's (and keep them paid off!)
