Chicago training is going well. Got 10 miles in this morning. Miles will be increasing soon which means earlier mornings for me to beat the heat. Good luck on your training GottaRun.

Are you guys getting up at the crack of dawn to beat the heat? Evenings are out because of the storms, although I did run in the rain a couple of days ago. It was awesome!

Actually I still run most of my runs at lunch unless I know I have a meeting conflict that day. Then I run in the morning.

we are doing 4:00am and 4:30 am runs, mostly...... and we make sure to pass water every 3-4 miles...

I should add that I am only running 4 to 6 miles though. I don't have another long race planned until October when I will be running the Jacksonville Marine Corps 1/2 marathon.

Well I made it through Chicago but I think I brought our weather with me! Finished a little short of my goal (10 minutes) and a couple off my PR due to the heat. It was a fun weekend. Up next is the Tower of Terror 13K and then the Jacksonville Half!
