Nice running, ladies! Good work, Scratch! And don't be too upset, T-Rev. I'm sure your "jogging" is faster than most of us can run.

Well, add me to the list of those who had a good run. Finally I'm pleased with a Saturday long run. I did 20.4 miles and felt good throughout. It's amazing how much easier it is to run when it's 50 out, as opposed to 80. My pace was a little slower than I would have liked (9:17 average), but that's okay. As always, my run was quite hilly. I got really slow around miles 17 and 18, and not coincidentally that's when I was running up a couple really big hills. Hopefully all these hills will make Philly seem phlat and phast by comparison...

LL, yeah, maybe we're on the same plan. I did move my plan up a day becasue I prefer doing the long run on Saturday, for two reasons. A, I can always use Sunday as a fallback, in case something happens on Saturday that prevents me from running (bad weather, baby being born, etc), and 2, if I get the run done on Saturday then I can pig out all Saturday afternoon and evening without a shred of guilt.

I know the game doesn't start for 7 more hours, but... Go Sox!!

I didn't watch a single pitch of that game. Not as though many people on the East Coast give a hoot, but TBS isn't making it convenient for us to watch it, by starting the games at 10pm Eastern time.

Maybe it's a little early to be thinking about matchups for the Red Sox in the World Series, but I gotta say that I'm starting to get scared about the damn Rockies. Would your Diamonbacks please beat them a couple times? They are just way too hot right now...

I know Kentucky is better then usual... but they're still freakin' Kentucky. And they just beat the #1 team in the country.

So let's see. The Gators have now lost to a team that has lost to Mississippi State (Aurburn) and a team that has lost to Kentucky (LSU).

And now we get Kentucky next weekend. We couldn't possibly lose to them... could we??

Alright, Theia! When's the first Full Ironman??

I just noticed that my run yesterday put me over 1100 miles for the year (1111, to be exact). It seems like I just hit 1000. I didn't hit 1100 until Dec 3 last year, so I'm happily ahead of that pace...

And by the way, no baby yet, in case you all haven't figured that out. 4 days late and counting. How many people are eliminated from the pool now? I think I'm basically eliminated now. If I remember right, I predicted 9:15pm tonight, and it doesn't look like we'll have a baby in the next 10 hours. Oh well. On we go...
