morning everyone!!

Happy Birthday baby Jillian!!! She's a heartbreaker already! Congrats to the proud parents!

Prae - the 'girls' do tend to shrink so you may need a new size. I like to wear mine tight so when I get a new one I gots to squeeze in. I like to have no movement. Then again, my 'girls' are small, so it is easily achieved. Body glide will help as well. I use that on my bra line.

Running - So I had 10 miles last night with 5 at 15K to HM pace. It started off freezing. It was windy and that really cold rain. My hands were ice cold and I could barely see so when I dropped off the dog, I put on gloves and a visor. First 3 warm up miles sucked. Didn't feel right. My legs were tired. Mile 1 of pace sucked...pulling a 930. I felt like I was pushing hard. I saw DH going around the other way and he was having a similar day. After mile 2 (859..better) I saw DH again and he ran the last 3 pace miles with me, really kicking my ass. 828, 802 (he said that one was wrong) and then 901 (up a real long hill). I then finished up my 2 miles recovery by myself. It was such a hard run. I cannot wait for 13 general aerobic tonight. /sarcasm

CONGRATS BOB FAMILY and Welcome Jillian!!!!

So today at about 2pm, they release the announcement about our reorganization and my new role is revealed to the world. It is actually crazy..My new Title will be
Value Stream Manager-Tie Bars/Patio Doors/Sky Light Products

Our change has actually created 8 positions like mine- each responsible for a different product or process. Here is the really crazy thing-they have not finished the job description yet-we have no idea what the pay will be or what we will actually be doing on a day to day basis...and we all said yes any way.

The next few months are going to be interesting.

Running is what is going to keep me sane, I am sure of that.

be watching for a QOD

HI guys, no runs to report (rest day, yeah I have alot of them).

Welcome to Jillian!! I can't see the pics, but I'll believe the others that are saying she's beautiful.

Reminds me of the only time someone didn't say that a baby was beautiful. It was my mom, who told a lady that her baby looked like a spider monkey.

Korbel congrats on the promotion(?). I hope it's not one of those "here's a promotion, you're doing the job of 3 people now for $1 more an hour" type deals. You must be doing good work to get the promotion though. :grin

I just registered for Freedom 10 mile race.

BigG - you already did too right?

McTortle - you should come down for it!

I will not be racing. It is the Sunday after a real long week of training.

SUPER BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Mann Family!! She's gorgeous! My Fairy Godmother blessing to you: May your daughter know day from night and may colic never visit your home.

Prae Champion is having their All Bras (Sports and Everyday ones) $19.99 sale. I'm pretty sure they have good return/exchange policy. I'd have to double check but I thought it was the deal where you can exchange for free until you get the right bra? Or maybe that's TitleNine. You can visit the site and check it out www.championcatalog.com. I just ordered four.

Yes indeedy I am Registered. Great Idea! Merry Mary Come Out and Play!

ETA I'm not racing the race either, it's just going to be a training run for me. But it's more fun when there's a bunch o people. And I owe my friend Jen a race. I've stood her up a few times now and we haven't seen eachother in ages. So it's shaping up to be a Fun Day! meet some 30's and catch up with my pal Jen.

First and foremost, Bob and Maggie - Congratulations.

Now for the boring stuff. Went out for a 12 miler last night. Decided to make the legs try to move fast and did five miles of tempo. Yeah, they aren't so happy with me this morning. Oops. It was really windy and rainy last night. But I will not complain about the weather. I struggled to get down to pace and didn't make it. I was about :10 off, but the effort was there and that's all that matters to me.

Minnesota Folks - If anybody is interested in doing a 5k or 10k on the weekend of October 27th, I'm game. I've done the Anoka one before, it's a good race down the Halloween parade route. There's also another around the lakes. I think there's a 5k, 10k, and half marathon options.

Go to the running store and get a new bra.
Try them all on.
I had one that was a little too tight and it damaged the girls. Not fun.
Sometimes it is as simple as where the seams lie/lay. Make sure the band is on your torso and not on the girls. Snug enough to breath, but not loose enough to move. That's the ticket.
