I had the most freaking wonderful run this morning!!! Amazing! Temps are down, 48* this morning. I ran 4.14 miles in 35minutes! That's an 8:27/mi That's amazing for me! AMAZING!<br><br>
Hey a little reward for all my hard work. My youngest son always kisses me on my shoulder when I hunch down to give him a hug before he leaves me to enter the school playground. Today he kisses me and says "It's not the same anymore Mom."<br>
me:"What's not the same, love?"<br>
him:" You used to be mushy. Now you're shoulder is hard."<br>

I've experienced what you are talking about before....not in along time, mind you, but still....<br><b>True story</b>: I have a very good friend who likes to drink. Really, I do! Anyway, when we go away on our Crazy Lady Weekends, said friend likes to indulge to the max. So, we are in the woods by the camp fire one time and I'm trying to keep up with her enthusiastic speed of imbibing, but I can't. I'm swaying in the wind and spitting when I talk. So she shows me her secret. She drops to the ground and does about 30 push ups! I'm laughing hysterically, because I've seen her do this many times but I always thought that she got all ..."i'm tough, look at me" when she drinks. Then she grabbed the hem of my pants and took me down flat on my ass, and made me do 30. <span style="font-size:xx-small;">Bitch!</span> But you know what? It works. I was able to keep up much better after that. After that weekend, my arms were like Jello for a week at least. I considered not brushing my teeth on the Monday morning...<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
