Thanks for the well wishes. Weather should be pretty near perfect (40's and clear at the start). I'm only taking a few days of easy running, so no real taper for this one, but to break my current PR from last year, I only need to run the same pace as I did for LVM last month (9:10) and I've done several medium runs (6-7 miles) at 8:2x, and felt good about it, so I think I'll be trying to hold 8:20 on race day and maybe <span style="font-size:x-large;"><span style="color:#FF0000;">k</span></span>ick it up a notch for the last 3-4 miles.<br><br>
I got a surprising swim in this morning. Surprising because it was close to my all-time 1 hour distance record (2100m). Even more surprising because the heater on the pool is in overdrive and the water is almost 90*F. Easy 6 or so miles on tap for tonight and then about 3 hours on the bike tomorrow.<br><br><br>
Going downtown to pick up my race packet and meet <b>Frankie</b> for lunch.<img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif">
