Yeah, my body used to return to 220 like a pendulum. Now its 205 that seems to be ground zero for me. I need to crack into the 190s. I gave myself until June 1 to hit 195 so still very attainable. Its all about the discipline... of which I have almost none

I don't have any discipline either. My body just likes to be at the weight it is. I don't know that I'll ever be able to change it now.<br><br>
Goodnight, Chosha. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

Yeah. I really wish for Suds sake I had not entered. He deserves it much more than me and he is so much closer. It is a couple states over for me and about 7 hour drive. I will be hard pressed to be ready for it. It is a tough time of year at the end of the school year as well.

Nicole, when I had Pneumonia a couple of years ago (November/December 2006), I had to take 3 weeks off... then the day I could start back, I got a stomach virus... so another 3 days off... so basically a month off - from any Aerobic activity.<br><br>
When I started back, after a few days to work out the 'kinks' - I felt good running. It comes back so quickly. You'll be fine. Just do what you can, and what feels comfortable. Swimming, and cycling will help though. I couldn't even do that stuff during my break, all I did was some pushups, and core work, to keep from feeling like a slob. My doctor laughed at me... because I kept asking when I could start back to running. He supports my decision to run, and totally works with me (he runs the occaisional 10k himself, and has run a marathon or two), but I think he thinks I'm nuts <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">

Ok... so I hate to say this outloud... but now here's what I've got in my head after reading your post:<br><br>
'That deaf, dumb and blind cat sure played a mean pinball'<br><br>
Hope the kitty is settled now that she's fed. Jaeger is terribly annoying when he's hungry.

I really need to hit the hay. Later peep. Sleep tight!!!

JohnnyB - it would have been way cool if both you and Suds would have gotten into Mt Washington, but don't have any guilt. It's a lottery, you both entered, and assuming the Mt. Washington people ran a fair lottery (and I'm sure they did) you both had equal shots of being selected. Congratulations on your selection! Go out there and tear it up!
