thanks guys. I really do feel lucky considering but there's still the "wahhhh why me?" thing going on too. We just don't have the spare $1,000 right now with dh being out of work so long, getting the new car, just starting to really add up.

I totally get you on this. Seems like it's a law that after being out of work (dh was for a bit this fall) that something comes along to break the bank. In our case it was Frankie's hospitalization. Since dh was out of work so long and was just starting up his company, health insurance was on back burner until the beginning of this year. Go figure Frankie got ill in December

JB..loved the pic. I have looked like that on several occasions this winter!! I always have to laugh when people say they saw me runing..I often wonder how they recognize me???!!! Last wk I was crossing the street and I saw one of my good friends sitting in her car....I waved and she gave a small wave back, but I could tell from the way she looked around..she was wondering who the hell I was and if I was really waving at her. So when it was my turn to cross I got in front of her car and started jumping up and down and waving with both hands ...she about died laughing because I looked like a fool but she figured out who it was!! So I wonder if she couldn't tell how can people I hardly know recognize me??

I had another bad experience with my eye this weekend which is why I have not ran since Friday. I did my LSD on Friday because I wanted to get it done before the bad weather came on Sat. I DO NOT wear sunglasses and have noticed my eyes are pretty dry lately...sure it is from the wind and cold when running. Took my contacts out before bed on Friday and Sat morn woke up with another ripped cornea (those of you, who have been around awhile, might remember I did this about 1 1/2yrs ago) It is feeling better today, still had left over meds from the last incident. Wore a patch most of Sat and yesterday was able to go with out it. That is why I wasn't on this weekend. Hard to do anything only seeing out of one eye!! So from now on...I wear sunglasses while running!!! I did not realize how important that was!! YIKES!!

ALright gotta run, they are done with playdough and ready to move on!!!!

HAPPY MONDAY!!

Off to the chiro in a few minutes. Ds is doing better I guess. No fever so that is good but his cough is unreal. sounds like his poor little body is going to turn inside out! He's happy and active so I'm not too worried.

Leembo - I'm up for whatever you all want to do on the night before the race! (as long as there is pasta involved!) I'm so excited! I just hope we don't have to deal with a blizzard or something crazy.

(((Gaela))) I'm sorry you have to deal with this! I hope you can get it fixed soon and things will be back to normal.

gotta go drink some coffee and get ds ready to go! carry on.

sisu- Glad ds in on the mend. I hate when they have a hacking cough I feel so bad
for them. I will pray that the bad weather stays away for us on that weekend
imagine trying to run in a blizzard LOL! oh there will be pasta no matter what
my favorite.

Sisu - I am glad ds is feeling better. Hopefully the cough will go away soon. I am excited for the race too - but also very worried about the weather. I wouldn't want to have to run a HM in the cold we have today.

I hope you guys get good weather!! I just checked our forecast and we're set to have rain 4 days this week and then snow, kinda sucks considering there's a big whole in my roof
