About the puking...on the first big hill I was pedaling with all I had to keep from stopping, and I started feeling my breakfast in my throat.<br><br>
Before the next big hill, my friend told all of us that "there's no shame in stopping and pushing", and added, "in fact you'll probably have to on this next one". I didn't say anything, but I took that as a challenge...and it took everything I had, but I made it up without stopping...AND without puking.

Two words "Biking shorts". I bought some and they're padded and it made a WORLD of difference. After my first ride I was about ready to sell the bike and forget riding, but I like it ok now. I noticed one big difference in my $100 bike and the rest of the folks...their shifter is on the handlebars attached to the brake. Mine is on the frame, so I have to steer w/one hand and shift. But I like it ok (maybe because I haven't ridden a good bike yet LOL!)

That's an excellent question...and I don't really know LOL! It's sort of "in my neighborhood" so I sort of feel obligated to try it. On my long run today I asked myself why I do this because I'm so happy when it's over.<br><br>
Sort of like banging your head on the wall because it feels so good when you stop. LOL! I have no good answers.<br><br>
Oh, and today I almost did a faceplant on the concrete at about mile 13. I was looking up because I could see Titans Stadium and tripped on something, went in full "superman" posture, but was able to keep my balance. Oh yeah, I was cool LOL!

Yeah, I looked back angrily at the road...you know...that "next time I'm kicking some ass" look. <img alt="blush.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/blush.gif"><br><br>
If I'd thought a little faster, I could have made it look like a trick and held my hands out and said "Ta-daaaa" LOL!

Kitty we have tired to go with out before and we went back but he has been dry for the past week and he really wants to try tonight. I think I could have bought a new house with the money I have spent on diapers. LOL
