12 done at Umstead. It was nice out.

LEE - funny that you asked who I was going to save.... I didn't save anybody, but let's say I kinda helped a guy who was having ITBS issues to finish his 16 miler... I was 1.5 mile into my run and we cross paths at a trailhead. He yelled: remind me why we are doing this!!!
I yelled back: cuz we can! What's the matter? How far?
He told me about his IT, I told him to shorten his strides and try to stop limping. He was cramping up too. We chatted and 2 miles later I had to turn around but he thanked me for getting through 2 of his last 3 miles of the 16.

It was an "easy" run for me, but other stuff in my life keeps me from feeling well even when I have the chance to sometimes. I got it done and that's all that matters right now.

Moni, I wouldn't call an easy week... but yes, it is a cut back weekend with 15/12 instead of 20+ back to back.

That should give me a little more rested legs for the Massacre next weekend.

KY, I need to go back and check the gift out.

sorry, I don't have much in me right now to do as many shout outs as you all deserve.

I'll check back later.
