Besides, people are uncomfortable with a moment of silence??? I mean, no matter what your political perspectives, everyone can find something from MLK Jr. that is at least inspiring. ETA: here, here Nettie!

PS. Still have not run. Geeeeezzzz...just get on the hamster wheel already.

She got unstuck!! We have a built in linen closet type of thing in the bathroom. On the top shelf, there is about a 4 inch gap at the top. Now, we have lived in this house for 2.5 years and this morning little white cat decides to get curious. I finish brushing my teeth and I hear "scratch scratch scratch" from behind the toilet. wah? I checked in the closet and no cat. I then hear the sound again from the left side and I realize where she is. I called her a few times but she wouldn't respond or move so I got worried. The distance from that gap to the floor is about 3.5 feet. I wasn't sure if she could even reach that anymore. So, I woke up DH to let him know the situation. My theory was to leave her there for a bit and see if she got out herself, maybe bait her with some food. His plan of action was to rip everything off the shelves, dismantle the top shelf and try to pry the side board out. It wasn't working so I convinced him to leave some food there and see what happens. If she doesn't come out, we can use a hand saw to score the board enough to break it. She came out by herself. What a brat!!

No 5K for me. I may come to watch. Sunday right?

Ive been a Giants fan since the early to mid 80s ( when they were the loveable losers ) I dont have anything against the Pats. The only time I can recall rooting for the Pats was when they played in the Super Bowl against the Jim McMahon era Bears.

Happy Birthday Katholeenie!!!
