<b>RFTL</b> - Tonya had thought about it, but with her doing Madison and the whole lottery thing I believe she will be in a support staff role in June. <b>BigG</b> is still in for the lottery, no idea about <b>Mary</b>.<br><br><b>Litch</b> - totally forgot about Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, you're right about it being pretty sweet

<b>KP & Tonya</b> - congrats on the house! Did you work out what you were doing with the heater? My last house was a rehab. There was an oil heater and tank in the basement that must have been built there, because there was no way in the world it would have fit up the steps. I called it the USS Heater. I had to cut it up to get it out. It was about as tall as me, maybe 6 feet long and 3 feet deep. (For an 850 sq ft house!). When the HVAC guy came to install the new one, he was carrying a box about half the size of a 2 drawer fie cabinet. I asked him if he need help getting the heater out of the truck. That box was the heater!<br><br>
Anyway that rehab was pretty fun. Among a million other things I also found some 1970s kid's porn stash inside the bathroom wainscoating. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> You never know what you will find.

Speaking of JC, the Social Distortion cover of <i>Ring of Fire</i> is awesome as well.

no kidding - the sellers are paying for an 80% efficient model and we are choosing to contribute $450 to upgrade that to a 95% efficient model.<br><br>
Home inspection tomorrow at 2:30 so that could be the last real hurdle.

don't forget to get the humidifier too. It makes the house seem warmer at lower temps in the winter.<br><br>
about $150-200 for an Aprilaire model 600

Hey all...first off, congrats on the house once again <b>Kp & Tonya</b>!<br><br>
Anyone watch AmIdol yesterday? Funny thing is that "I'm Your Brother!" dude would probably make it huge if that song were released in the Philippines (judging by his last name & accent, he's of Filipino origin I believe)<br><br>
Second thought I had yesterday - I think it would fun to have an American Gladiators Idol? If you sing like crap, three Gladiators get to come from behind the judging table to beat the crap out of you<br><br>
Love all those versions...Wall Of Voodoo's Ring Of Fire is a completely wacked out cover as well.<br><br>
Another great cover is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's ukelele version of My Favorite Things where he mixes in Louis Armstrong's "It's A Wonderful World" seamlessly into the song.<br><br>
Funny story about Voodoo Chile - early on in my college radio days, I played the Soft Cell version of that song (probably the worse batch of covers ever in one song, since they did a medley of three Hendrix songs in a row, but I played it because it was long enough that I could sneak off to the bathroom <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> )<br><br>
I was reading back my playlist on-air and got to that song, and I prounounced the song title "Voodoo Chilly" (just like the country, ya' know?) I wanted to shut down the station right then and there I was so freakin' embarassed <img alt="blush.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/blush.gif"> but thankfully it was during the rookie shift (3-6 AM) so my pronunciation mistake probably wasn't heard by much of anyone.
