Today was my rest day, but because of VRAA, I managed 9 points...yay! Plus, a really good time with my family. I walked 2 miles with our dog while my 2 girls rode their bike and scooter. And weather was GORGEOUS today! I also did 5 minutes of situps and pushups. My abs are killing me...lol.

My DH is out of town this week, which means I won't be able to get my usual miles in...sorry guys. Hopefully I can make it up with a race on the 19th.

My kids got in on the situps/plank act tonight. Chalk up some family fitness to VRAA.

Hey hey hey...it's Monday.

I don't like Mondays, especially when I can't run before work....grrrrrrrrr.

I'm hoping for a run during lunch.

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, it's Monday! I got in 4 miles on the TM this morning...after I bagged running outside. I got halfway down my block and decided that I didn't have much chance of keeping my feet under me for very long - it was icy after yesterday's warmup and melting. Ah well, maybe next time I'll be able to get outside.

Keep up the good work, Team!

Runinbehind - Sorry for the ice - In WI - It been warm enough that the sidewalks are little lakes or ice - depending. I just run the streets - A little dicey when there is thick fog like the last few days - But I always run against traffic, so I can dive in the ditch if I need to.

But the TM is a necissary evil - Way to embrace the evil for the good of Team 0

good monday morning everyone!!

i had an 8 mile tempo run in the dark and rain. before i headed out, i thought to myself," this is SO not going to be fun". but then i thought about my team, took a deep breath, and dove out in the rain. wanna know something funny? the faster i ran near the peak of my tempo.. the harder it rained. i had to laugh out loud. it was almost like Mother Nature was mocking me for being out there

Nice job everyone!!! Wow...everyone is so inspiring. Thank you!

Went to the gym during my lunch only to find out I forgot my running shoes. Crap! So I left work 45 minutes early, raced home, and did a quick 5-miles before picking up girls at school. My run ended at front of their school. And then the girls and I walked a half a mile home. So far, 22 points. I will post my points after I do some crunches/pushups before bed.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo to Team O Baby!

Legs still sore from the Half Marathon yesterday. Planned to ride 3 miles on the bike to get my 4 points for the team. Normally after a half I would not exercise at all for a couple of days. Decided I should get my team some points.

Got stupid. Rode 27.52 miles 41 points. Every time I thought about turning around decided to get a couple more points for the team.

Flounder- nice job tiger! i've done your core and then some.

Thank you for everyone for puting in your 4 or more!

This is such great motivation!

My day: breakfast, work. Doubled the number of clients I had while at work. Finished work, went to Costco to buy supplies for work. Got home late and finally got to eat for the second time today. Boy, was I hungry. Watched the news (gotta get me some Countdown - be there, aloha) and ate dinner.

Then I thought, you know, I need to get my 4 points in today. Plus, my legs are really sore from doing squats and lunges yesterday on a stability trainer and I thought a nice mile walk would warm things up and help with recovery. So, I put on my safety yellow biking jacket and grabbed a flashlight and headed out the door. At the half mile turn around point, I thought, gee that light is only another quarter mile and that would be 2 extra points and I'm finally starting to get the feeling back in my fingers, so I kept walking. then I remembered the light was a half mile away and figured what the heck, I'm finally warm, might as well go for it. The next thing you know, I've walked 2 miles, gotten 8 points and am nice and toasty warm.

I wouldn't have gone for the walk if I didn't feel like I needed to get my 4 points in. Everyone else is doing so great, I didn't want to be the slacker.

Go Team O!
